As ever very interesting. The sounds are top! 

I like the unusual prioritising on this. The high warping sounds that lead the way in and the flicker bass-drum/pulse pushing right through. In fact there's such a lot of interesting elements within, that a more sunken mix (with everything more even) might be interesting from the point of view of texture alone!

Interesting panning and sound design in the opening. Creative and unique aesthetics! I enjoy the interesting leads!

Hope you all enjoyed the last edition, delving into the music of Bas Broekhuis Detlef Keller & Mario Schonwalder, more specials are to come later in the year. Now it’s back to our usual look at new releases from those musicians we featured over the years, including the epic journey-style album called ‘Oracle’ from David Wright & vocalist Carys, the calm & relaxing atmosphere in an ambient universe from Steen Chorchendorff Jorgensen. Experimenting with synthesised sounds, Rayspark Industries takes us to unknown territories. Focusing on the universe’s beauty, wonder & complexities brings us Infinite Universe by fellow Aussie Jim Ottaway. Romanian artist Kamarius, a world fusion of spiritual, meditative & cinematic sounds. The many styles of electronic music from the prolific UK musicians Ivan Black are just a few we are featuring with their new albums.
We must say compiling this podcast has been one of our more laid-back editions for some time. We begin with Micado’s first album with nine tracks, all in coproduction with other electronic music composing artists, we selected two featuring Transit-NL & Midi Bitch.

WARPED : 30 years of Warp records (1989-2020) 

An incredibly adventurous label that reaches a massive, loyal audience. It's the label that signs the most interesting talent. The home of Aphex Twin, Autechre, and BoC. Its story began in Sheffield in 1989 during the UK's acid house explosion. The bleep sound Warp helped shape and popularise was probably the UK's first truly innovative response to US house and techno, a sound to call its own. Through the Artificial Intelligence series, the label laid the groundwork for experimental electronic music as we know it today—music that didn't rely on a club environment to come alive—and went on to explore new sonic possibilities through IDM and fusions of guitars and dance music. The creation of, or response to, many major movements of electronic music's past three decades can be found in its vast catalogue.

Rayspark Industries has been producing music for over 25 years. The hardware years 1994-2002 and the software years 2010-now. Currently his studio consists of Ableton Live Suite with sounds and sequences sourced from various iOS apps, software synths and utilising Native Instruments' Reaktor 6 ensembles and instruments. It is this approach that has opened up a whole new era in sound design and compostional approaches and gives the freedom to experiment like never before. As organised sound, he uses music as a platform for his explorations of new sounds he has found or created, many unheard and many certainly unused in the context of composition. It is this thirst for auditory discovery that keeps his sound fresh and ever-changing and is the well-spring of his creativity. Extended bio:
Rayspark Industries started his adventures in sound, learning various instruments in a music workshop in early 1980's. 

After pushing various CasioTone keyboards to their limits in the late 80's he started to compose his first sample-based tracks using the Amiga software, Octamed. His limited yet highly effective arsenal of these early forays were a Roland Alpha Juno 2 and an 8bit sampler. 

As technological advances during the 90s opened up whole new areas of creativity and experimentation future tracks were composed using the Korg MS20, 05R/W, Poly800, Yamaha CS5, TX81z, various analogs, effects and an Amiga A1200 running MicroIllusion's Music X. The track "Shuffle" (under the name "RSI"), featured on the accompanying CD of"Future Music" magazine, Issue 58, July 1997 displaying his heavy bias towards analogue and analogue-esque sound sources. By this time he was now composing on the PC using Cubase VST, early indications of the future evolution of his approach to composition. 

Rayspark Industries have now completely updated (and downsized) his studio which consists of Native Instruments' Reaktor and various other plugins run through Ableton Live Suite. Rayspark Industries believes this approach has opened up a whole new era in his sound designing and compostional approaches and gives him the freedom to experiment like never before. As organised sound, he uses music as a platform for his explorations of new sounds he has found or created, many unheard and many certainly unused in the context of composition. It is this thirst for auditory discovery that keeps his sound fresh and ever-changing and is the well-spring of his creativity.

Main influences:
The early sounds of Jean Michele Jarre, OMD and the Human League and also the more current sounds of Plaid, Autechre, Orbital and LFO to just name a few...

Limitation = Imagination!
