This is a really weird one, because at the same time I like it, I think I went too overboard with it. I don't know, it just sounds so intense and unfitting for its purpose, but Hex really liked it.
Definitely one of the least Super Cat Tales-ish tracks from my part of the OST, I kinda did my own thing here.

First off, I wanna mention that I am aware that the volume is a little messed up and I only realized that after exporting and uploading it to Soundcloud. Can't fix that on Soundcloud without re-uploading unfortunately, but on Newgrounds I can replace the file anytime, so I'll be fixing this soon.

Now, I'm super proud of this one, I never thought I could compose a track like this. By far, the most complex one from my part of the OST (maybe the least SCT-like one too), containing key and tempo changes.

Heavily inspired by Chaos Angel from Sonic Advance 3, takes also some inspiration from the Final Boss theme from SRB2 Mystic Realm, both amazing tracks I thought had a fitting vibe for this dark castle-in-the-sky level thing.

Ok, this one I'm actually glad how it came out! I had the main melody idea for a while, but I never got to transcribe it correctly nor turn it into a full song, even if it's a short one. Also, kind of a fitting vibe for halloween, huh?

Another one I'm satisfied with how it came out! Although, as always I'm kinda unsure about sections.
First oriental inspired track I made, so I wasn't really sure which instruments I should use without breaking that Super Cat Tales style. Took some inspiration from other game tracks I thought sounded oriental, particularly Nimbus Ruins from Sonic Robo Blast 2 on that harp glissando.

This is one of the few songs I used BPM change. Nothing too big, just a quick change from 115 BPM to 100 BPM at the very end to give a relaxing and satisfying ending. Also, one of the few songs where I also took the liberty to use midi instruments (for the shakuhachi to be precise, the one from the Kirby Super Star soundfont sounds bad). Well, considering they're from the Roland SC88 soundfont, I guess it still is inside soundfont limitations, just not SNES soundfonts.

Well, this is actually a remix I did over a year ago back when the hype on this game was skyrocketing. It's unfinished and I don't really like it that much, but I felt it would be kind of a waste to have a remix this complete laying around, plus it would probably have been lost to time eventually, so here I am uploading it.

I like this theme, but I always thought it sounded too short (even though people will usually spend less than a minute in the menu), so I tried something with it.
That bassline may or may not be intentionally inspired by a certain DOOM Eternal song... I have no idea how that came to my mind, I just hope it doesn't sound too much like that

I'm aware the mixing could be better, but idk much about that. I just wanted to get this done, I had been stuck on this single track for months. I really want to move on to a new, cheerful and simple track.
Also yeah I know... soundfont guitars. There's nothing I can do about it, though.
I don't have the software or money for a high quality guitar VST nor do I have a real guitar. If I ever get my hands in any of those, I will definitely remake this song.
I know I didn't have to use a guitar, but guitars are cool + I tried replacing it with a synth and it just sounded worse.
