Over the past few years, I’ve put out a series of podcasts right around the late-July, early-August period, which I’ve called my “Dog Days of Summer” series. It always contains a collection of hot midsummer jams meant for losing your inhibitions and getting sweaty on the dance floor.

Life is a like a box of chocolates. You never know what you gonna get. These past few weeks has been a true test of patience and endurance for myself, my partner and a dear close friend of ours. We've experienced some major changes in our lives and it has only brought us closer than ever. 

One thing that I have learnt from this experience is that people whom we care and love can disappear from our lives forever unplanned and unannounced. Going through the shock of losing them can be traumatic but it also teaches us a great deal of reality. 

Change is something we have to anticipate and once we have allowed ourselves to digest it, we decided to put it all behind, look forward and move on. Hence, it’s up to us to choose if we want to move into the light or move into light.
