You know Munk probably from the songs he did with James Murphy, Peaches, Asia Argento or one of many other indie disco tracks he released on his former label Gomma. Gomma now is sleeping and since Mathias Munk Modica started the Toy Tonics label with his friends Manuel Kim & Moritz Butschek he hasn’t released many things under that name. Instead he has been playing keyboards, bass and drums on many tracks of other artists on the TT label. And of course has been building up the TT imprint from his new home in Berlin.
Now it’s summer and it felt right to put out a few balearic remixes reworks of Munk tracks. Beach party and daytime disco vibe. So here u get reworks of Munk’s friends Severino from Horse Meat Disco, Lauer, King DJ and Kai Alce from Detroit. Right for this summer.

Kicking off the A side is The Funk District - 'Play The Game', what a way to kick start this vinyl release with its hooky vocal, funky chords and driving disco vibe perfect for the dancefloor.
Next up is Munky Fike - 'Oh Disco Baby' the title says it all... Bringing back that old disco vibe, beautiful keys and percussion with a vocal which flows through the track to give you that disco lift feeling with a catchy bassline.
Flipping over onto the B side we have C. Da Afro - 'Groove Definitio', funky guitar riff to get your feet stomping with a pulsating baseline groove and a guitar solo to fall in love to.
Finishing up this perfect first vinyl from Moiss Music is Alexny - 'Take You There' driving beat, disco filters and pumping vocal will take leave you wanted to play this track again and again.
