Easily two of the most talented house producers out there right now @matt-masters and @miltonjackson have come together for a full EP Viaggio on @fredeverything's excellent Lazy Days imprint. 

Their collaboration is a mouthwatering prospect and they have more than delivered on that promise. Featuring three original tracks and a Fred Everything remix of the title track they have created a deep euphoric triumph of an EP full of emotion and endless dancefloor grit.

Paper Recordings has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties.  This cornerstone label has evolved to incorporate Paper Vision Films, which made the award winning Northern Disco Lights. If you haven’t checked this out you have to see it!  Paper has been championing a wide array of artists from Norway and their wonky disco wares since way back when, and this month they presents Oslo’s finest Lakeshouse and their ‘Tusen Takk EP’ which consists of three impeccably well produced Norwegian nu-disco slammers.
 
Lakeshouse is a group of producers, jazz musicians and visual artists collaborating to create their unique take on various forms of underground dance music. They have released previously on Paper Recordings and have been praised in both DJ Mag and Mixmag, for their leftfield beats like “Firkanta EP” and “Folkemusikk”. Their music connects the dots between Norwegian space disco and the UK club scene with their shimmering productions and playful beats, sprinkled with both melancholy and bundles of humour. 
 
‘We Don't Stop’ perfectly blends disco, pop and house into a late summer anthem for beaches, clubs and boat parties. Todd Terje, Todd Edwards and Daft Punk can all be heard, but the result is all its own and a perfect slice of fjord funk. ‘Treat Me Right’ goes heads down but keeps the sunshine shining with its chunky 4/4 beats, rolling chords and vital vocal stabs. ‘Tusen Takk’ finishes things off in a disco prog direction with cosmic stylings, off-kilter acappellas, wonky synths, NRG bass and shifting arps. There’s lashing of good times here with plenty of Norwegian disco wonk

What do you get when one of the UK's finest music makers goes into the studio with one of Norway's fastest-rising producers? Listen to Offshore Sunsets and find out. That's exactly what happened when Fila Brazilia's Steve Cobby & Third Attempt hooked up to create some stunning sounds for their new EP.

B Human kicks things off with the first of two collaborations, and it's all kinds of rolling, hypnotic, spaced-out, Balearic business. Floating minor keys, walking bass and a gorgeous chugging guitar make it sun-blessed.

Language Of The Heart is the solo offering by Third Attempt, and is a tripped out smoker's delight. Soul II Soul, Crazy P and Nightmares on Wax can all be felt, perfect for those early evening or 'back-to-mine' sessions.

Finally, Feeling Seen sees the chaps working their collaborative magic again on a hazy, jazzy, broken beat, doozy of a track that is deep, stripped back and funky as all hell.

“Burning Life” is a deep and engaging piece of Balearic with some very tangy Latin influences

DJ Windows 7 delivers the remix, which takes a four on the floor approach and although it still pertains it’s mellow demeanor, it certainly goes dancing in the deep end.

Straight after his contribution to the splendid Delusions of Grandeur compilation and collaboration with Sebastien Vorhaus aka “Soul of Hex” as well as his latest EP's on the Russian “Capital Bass” label and "Swedish Brandy" Ponty Mython is back with a full swung EP packed with cosmic deep house tunes.

“How To Get Your Life Together And Succeed” sets the pace for the record, bringing together a kaleidoscope of sounds in Ponty Mython’s signature style, soul meets dance floor punch. “Changes We Go Through” oozes hip shaking appeal, a deep and sleazy bass line leads the charge on this bumping house track. “Watch Over Him” slows things down a touch with live funk and jazz licks conjuring images of session musicians jamming in a smokey club, urging you to get down.

On the top of the B-side, we have man of the moment Red Rack’em who delivers a wonderfully “Wonky” house remix in his very unique style, casually combining elements from three of the originals. Next up we have “Love Is Not A Thing”, another body moving sultry deep house offering, dripping with soul, as easy vocals ramble over lazy keys and lively percussion. Finally, easing us to the end of our outing in the sonic stratosphere is “Lopp 17”, back in the funk realm, with some tropical percussion thrown in and a steady grooving bottom end to keep heads nodding right to the last moment.

All in all one of the most exciting and Musical records we have ever released .. and with 3 tracks per side this is somehow more a mini Album than EP .
