I decided to upload another more unusual set of mine (these days).
this is a recreated mix of the way I started my set in Kaliningrad lately. As I started to play before people gathered up and danced I thought I do it the good old Phonique way- building it up from a slow 105bpm to something around 120bpm later.
Surprisingly people already started to dance at 107bpm and never left the dance floor!

Crew Love proteges Life On Planets deliver this week's exquisite mix and we're sure you'll have this on repeat all year long. The duo have prepared a lush selection of tracks that really embody that deep, sultry sound that we love here at Deep House London.

In case you didn't know, Life On Planets are a duo from Baltimore who have become tightly linked with Crew Love (i.e. Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap et al) and have dropped some seriously great EPs already, epitomising that vocal-led, funky sound that we often associate with Crew Love. They perform live as well as DJing, and have all the qualities of a big-time future success.

We love all their releases so far, 'Fata Morgana' on Better On Foot for instance and also their brilliant track 'Fork In The Path' - a remix of which we premiered just recently over on Deep House Amsterdam.

Nobody knew too much about Krywald & Farrer when their email landed in our Gmail accounts late earlier this month. They’ve earned their stripes, yes. Their residencies at a number of London’s clubs tell us that story. But today’s debut tells us that they clearly just get a kick out of smushing genres together.

“The People’s Asafo” sees warm house textures flirt with an infusion of Ghanaian beatwork for eight minutes. A coaxing leg-shaker if there ever was one. It arrives on March 30th (via Silver Bear Recordings) and backed by B-side “He’s The Chief” which continues the afrocentric theme with gusto.

The second edition of the Rose Records limited 10" series comes courtesy of Junktion, whose releases on the likes of Outplay and Slow Town didn't only sell out at breakneck speed but also established him as one of Holland's biggest talents in discerning deephouse/disco circles.

Junktion does what he does best on this delightful little platter. The lolloping 'Running for Whatever' on the A is as infectious as they come, with loads of clever samples arranged over classy rolling drums and a deep, rubbery bassline. Flip over for Pale Blue Dot, a slightly tougher, trippier uptempo workout with spaced out pads, big drums, crisp hats and massive synth stabs that should whip up a real frenzy in a packed club. Killer pair of tunes from a producer that's very much on top of his game.

I had a dream that Birmingham's one and only Low Steppa and dark bass trendsetter Taiki Nulight teamed up to collaborate on some music, it was glorious. When I woke up I thought, "This could never happen." As I checked my email that day there was not one but two songs by the innovative British producers. It's a Night Bass miracle! The two songs are a perfect union of both producers' styles. "Nu Jam" is a dark and bouncy roller with a big fat sub guiding the way, while "Nose Powder" takes us to a fist pump level of energy around a minimal but undeniably banging bassline. Stanislav Lukoyanov, aka 5 Reasons, is a 16 year old Russian producer from Moscow. He first made hip hop instrumentals for independent artists before turning towards nu-disco in 2012. In his search for a new inspiration, he looked into his father's record collection and started composing his own disco tunes. 
After releasing several tracks on various labels, he is now presenting his latest production "Night Drive In Moscow". This time, 5 Reasons created a very unique atmosphere by mixing mysterious vibes with a real disco feel. 
The vocals by the talented American singer Patrick Baker add the final touch to this remarkable piece. 
The release also includes two remixes: one by the very promising Mexican producer Bronx, and the other by a major artist of the nu-disco scene, Satin Jackets.
