Detroit's https://soundcloud.com/pontchartrain takes the Razor-N-Tape reigns for his debut on the label - an all-cylinders-firing jazz laden, deep house EP with an exquisite https://soundcloud.com/demuja remix.

The A side kicks off with 'The Friends & Lovers Dub' version of the title track 'Love Is Madness', filled with deep pulsing pads, resonating dashes of sax, crisp percussion and a bumping bassline that provides the perfect backdrop to the echoing mantra of 'Friends... Lovers'. 

Next 'I-80' is a wonder of shimmering arps, brooding bass tones and reverberating trumpet touches. Perfect for the early hours, entrancing dancers as it washes over the airwaves. 

On the flip, Austria's golden boy Demuja hits hard with a Kerri Chandler channeling deep house remix of 'Love Is Madness', centred around a pumping bass synth, sustained organs and a classic marriage of horn stabs and emotive spoken word. 

Closing the EP the original mix is a sun kissed, eyes closed gem that blends delicate bongos, rousing sax lines and the sweet vocals of Simon Black & Leafar.

A must for any record collection out there, house head or not.

Reverse Jazz is a native of Derry in Ireland.  A huge fan of electronic music from his teens he brings a wealth of knowledge to his music and hopes to take people on a journey through different genres and the odd hidden gem.

His mixes are varied in style and all go under the genre of electronic.

Born and raised in Bodø in the north of Norway. Started out with classical piano lessons from the age of 7. Discovered electronic music and hiphop in the early eighties, and started DJing in 1987. Stumbled upon an Acid House Party during a football tournament in England in 1989, that evening changed everything. 

 Contributed to build up the now legendary club Undergrunn in the mid nineties together with musical henchmen trulspuls and lp. Here the ravers, rockers and hiphop crews met in sweet harmony.
 
Moved to Oslo in 98 and after a year was part of the editorial group in the norwegian electronic music and lifestyle magazine Mutek. Later become music editor and chief editor of Mutek.
 Has played at most of the clubs in oslo, and festivals like SummerParade, Sub City, By:larm Quart Festival and Parken Festivalen.
 
Started producing music with his good friends Kikka and Mortis in 2000, which resulted in releases with the projects Molo Mekaniske and Spazmodic.
Nowadays producing music together with Mortis as Mordox, spinning records as motorolav and together with trulspuls as itza itza.
