Just some more music for the world I'm writing in, this time pulling from a scene early in book one. I'm somewhat obsessed with the main theme I wrote for this whole universe at this point; it's quite a lot of fun to write music for my own stuff. I had this one most of the way finished a few months ago, decided to add the finishing touches this morning and let y'all have it.

“Lost, look,” Katie breathes shakily, backing up into me and interrupting my immense disorientation. She reaches back, grabbing hold of my shoulder and shaking it with force.

I whip my head around, instantly seeing the reason for her breath-taken reaction. Honestly, it’d be pretty hard to miss.

Two quadrupedal wolf-like frames of stone clamber through the tree line that falls in their wake, their movements weirdly organic for something made entirely out of boulders. Gleaming geode beds like porcupine spikes are arranged tightly along their backs, bristling at the sight of us. Sunlight refracts beautifully through their crystals, pouring rainbows across the trees like a projector screen.

They’re at least the size of two or three minivans. Each.

Burning gemstone eyes sit deeply in their supersized skulls as they bare their crystalline teeth, emitting visceral growls from sedimentary throats.

I'm Lunaros, also known as Kira or Luna.  I don't label myself with a gender, so use whatever pronouns.  I'm aroace; not interested in romantic relationships or otherwise.  I'm also omni-nihilist - I believe in infinite possibilities, but I don't actively practice any religion, and I don't have a very meaningful outlook on existence.  I have my own morals and standards, but I like to call myself open-minded.

I, as a whole, am best described as a fractured empath.  I can easily feel and understand emotions, and I tend to relate the feelings of those around me to a certain extent.  However, this empathy also acts as a catalyst for many fears, which used to be an issue but has since given me a lot of respect for the concept of fear.  Here's a list of fears I have experienced just because they're interesting:

Claustrophobia - Fear of small spaces.

Agoraphobia - Fear of helplessness.
Algophobia - Fear of pain.
Chronophobia - Fear of time.
Somniophobia - Fear of sleep.
Achluophobia - Fear of the dark.
Dementophobia - Fear of insanity.

I often do a bit of gaming, hang out on Discord 70% of the time (@achyros for anyone who cares), and generally strive for a peaceful approach to this hell of an existence.
