Some time ago Irunak/Musical Alchemy contacted me and asked me whether I would be interested in doing an electroacoustic rework of one of his tracks, “Octogon Branches” (which you can listen to here: https://soundcloud.com/musicalalchemy-545093364/octogon-tree). The track that I came up with appears (but only appears) to have taken a kind of sample from the original one and a weird kind of micro-melody has crept in ... I organized the resulting material in a sequence of 3 (or perhaps 4) sonic spaces that are linked together by transitions.

This is to share my creations and discover yours.

Those sounds we put together and call ''music'' mean everything to me.
Regardless of the style, genre, or cultural ethnicity, 
All these kinds of sounds have always occupied a huge part of my time, attention and listening.

''Music'' has followed me and been a companion in the happiest and through some of the absolute worst moments of my life.

I have been taught in a way, by every composer, conductor and otherwise musicians, bands and performers I have admired and spent so much time listening to over the years. 

My biggest influence is Karl Heinz Stockhausen, for his textures and sonorities the experimental concept from which his creations and sounds came to life, for his approach to performing and the thoroughness of detailing and documenting his works.
 
I began creating and recording my own ambient-experimental soundscapes 10 years ago with the discovery of software synthesizers and Digital Audio workshops. 
Thanks to Soundcloud, I can now share worldwide what I do and take a plunge into this vast network of ''music''. 

I use mostly orchestral instruments, but also a vast combination of ethnic and modern instruments, including synthesizers.

I use all kinds of sacred chants, ethnic voices, choirs. 
I routinely route instruments to sound processing, where the effect is an instrument.
I often use various sound sources.

I am a sound artist/composer of acousmatic or electroacoustic music/musique concrète and a dj of dark industrial techno music (https://www.mixcloud.com/rbhuysmans/). In essence, I compose by listening. My music is expressionistic and it is often described as narrative and visually evocative. My interests are new, as yet unheard electronic sounds and textures, field recordings, sound art, combining electronic music with acoustic instruments, as well as projects with artists from other fields. In collaborations, I am looking for synergy and mutual enrichment and I want to learn new approaches and concepts. I have had the pleasure to work with other musicians (organ, percussion), performance artists of experimental dance (Butoh), video artists, fashion designers, and visual artists (painting, sculpture). Besides developing these interests further, I am looking forward to new as yet unknown areas to discover with my music.

When the human being decides to erase the borders between countries and believes more in people than in gods, money will disappear and we will understand everything, despite the fact that a million wars will have been as stupid as they were inevitable.
