December Lanterns is an alternative rock band / duo from Cape Town, South Africa. The two band members are Jeremy Farber and Lournes Lombaard who formed in March 2016. They have just released their first album called Cure for Winter. 
The 12 song album was written, performed and recorded by them in their basement studio and is has just been released online. They are currently busy with their online media and some music videos to promote the songs. 
The members met in 2005 and worked together in marketing in Cape Town, South Africa. They only jammed a few times prior to 2016, but after writing a few songs last year, they managed to finally get an album done. Jeremy has always had an interest in guitars and drums and Lourens has been in several bands in the past on vocals and guitar. 
The album was released online on for free on Soundcloud and is also available on Spotify,  iTunes and Google play.
December Lanterns look forward to making many more songs in future, for those that enjoy thier music.
