When I download a new midi file

Well, after layering "Hexagonist" over the instrumental of Zukesers latest track (that track being https://soundcloud.com/zukesers/body), I realized that they actually kinda went well together. "But just having those two slapped together on their own wouldn't be enough to make a worthwhile post!" I said, forgetting all the times when I've posted lower-effort ideas that did well. (Looking at you, "Torture.wav". I hate that track, by the way.)

Anyways, take this as proof that more effort does not necessarily yield a better or more worthwhile product. Also, if you're going to do fancy clip manipulation - à la the original - for your mashups, get software that's better than Audacity. Don't make my mistake.

(Also, bonus points to anyone who can find the Soundcloud conversation that this new thumbnail is based off of.)

Pay No Mind to Life

I had to sing for my Vocal Class so I chose this song and sung it and yea.

I had to do it in one take, with no autotune, but allowed to master, time the vocals correctly, and add choruses. This one I uploaded has some vocal modifications like lowering the pitch on one to two things, but other than that it's the same.

Also it's not on FrontMeat account cause I was lazy, and also since there is nothing original about the instrumental I used (other than vocal removal), then I feel it should just be here instead.

Pretty much a very straightforward, groove-driven tech house track with "poolside" energy to it. This is part of a bigger emphasis on focusing on a track's overall groove.
