Subsquad Prod. présente le second volet de sa série de compilation, les CITY SQUAD, qui mettent en lumière une ville et ses artistes avec des morceaux exclusifs, le tout en téléchargement libre.
Le deuxième opus est dédié à Grenoble et présente 15 producteurs grenoblois, depuis la musique Roots jusqu'au Stepper en passant par le pur Dub de Sound System. Vous pouvez également découvrir, sur la page dédiée sur notre site internet, la liste des Sound Systems locaux ainsi qu'un court historique du Dub à Grenoble.

Subsquad Prod present the second part of our serie of compilation, the CITY SQUAD. Each part will present the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of exclusive tunes that will be available in free download.

This second part is dedicated to Grenoble and presents 15 producers from this city, from Roots music to Stepper. You can also discover, on our website, the list of local Sound System and a short historic of Dub history in Grenoble.

Chaque face creuse plus profondément dans l'expérience RDH Hi-Fi.

Les deux faces sont accompagnées d'un titre et de sa version dub et sont toujours très influencées par les effets dub classiques de RDH Hi-Fi.

Une face est plus "Rootikal" et l'autre plus "Experimental hardcore dubwise" !

This time in our Dub Plate Series a real heavyweight sound system monster. Voiced by very talented Rhea out of Copenhagen Denmark and originally released on Danish Dub vol 1 earlier this year in a different version produced by Almost HiFi. Here we present a powerful remix version composed and mixed by one and only Violinbwoy. Played by few chosen sounds for the past couple years and demanded by many for an official release it is now available on a limited polyvinyl. Don’t dilly dally on this one as it will fly out quick. 80 copies available. Late night vibes incoming!

Originally the Rhea wrote the song based on a riddim from Ital Mick but she never went to the studio or finished the song. When the Danish dub community started growing almost a decade later, she revisited the song with almost hi-fi in 2016 and in 2017 the final vocals where recorded.

And then it has been a Dubplate thing shared with a couple of sounds until it came out :-)
