Mealz Muney, born Jamarl Townsend is a young, upcoming music artist with a high dose of energy & aspirations. Currently affiliated with Real Right Entertainment as a solo artist, he is eager to attack the industry and become successful. Identifying as a “music artist”, which is in result to his love of music since childhood, he began writing at the age of nine. While growing up in Albany, NY his childhood was definitely rough. With his mother being single and working excessively to maintain the household, Mealz turned to the street life, gang banging, selling drugs and battling the police. At the age of thirteen he began freestyling, which would be, (10 years later) one of the skills that solidifies his talent. Now at age twenty-­two he is excited to establish himself within the music industry, specifically hip hop, and gain a massive, loyal fan base. Hopefully, it will generate an opportunity for him to showcase his other talents such as acting and writing for other music artists. After collaborating with queens rapper, Paparazzi Pone on the single titled “ She want a G”, he began to develop a narrow following within New York City. Now set to release his first mixtape in 2016, entitled “OTR: Only The Real”..Volume 1, he is definitely a new artist to be watched.
