Oakland's AYBEE will make his debut on Molly's newly launched RDV (Recit de Voyage) with the label's second release. The 'Nexus' EP follows the DJ/producer/filmmaker's 2016 LP 'The Odyssey' on his own Deepblak imprint and recent 12" 'The Motion Syntax' for London's DMK.

Having established a reputation as one of electronic music's foremost innovative and versatile musicians - with a freeform, jazz-influenced approach to production that has lent itself equally to a prolific solo output under various guises and collaborations with Afrikan Sciences, Ron Trent and Jerome Sydneham - 'The Nexus' finds AYBEE again mining a deep & hypnotic house sound to maximum effect, employing the tribal drum patterns, hypnotic synths and signature grooves that helped establish the Deepblak sound. 

The trio of tracks make for a perfect follow-up to RDV's debut from Prophets of a New Generation, and fit beautifully within the trademark deep, subtle & groovy style of the Parisian DJ & Rex Club resident Molly, who herself is quickly establishing herself as a label owner with her own unique vision.

Here we offer real and proper underground 90’s deep house for those who appreciate digging deep for alternative sounds. Dr. Shemp, a Birmingham producer, brings an EP with four well engineered soulful 90’s house tracks. His EP offers piano stabs and beautiful organ chords, presenting the levels of Dr. Shemps infinite talent. Keeping on that real US house sound that we all love, especially here at The Groove Stage. Frappé is a Parisian-based label founded in 2019, passionate about electronic music in its French ways, inhabited by the energy of the dancefloor and motivated by the desire to produce artists who have a rare sense of groove and a signature sound.

Basile (aka Basile de Suresnes) and Bruno (aka Ten Fingerz) initiated the project, the 2 DJs and producers previously founded former Parisian crew Paris Bouillant, with which they organised music electronic events in Paris over the last 4 years in venues like Java, Badaboum, Alimentation Générale, Panic Room.

Influenced by the music produced during the FrenchTouch years of the 90s and 00s and by artists like Bangalter, Crydamour or Cassius, the label aim is to showcase varied productions which will have in common the powerful and original sound that is so typical of the « French Touch ».

The label finds its inspiration in the earlier productions but claims to be grounded in today’s trends, as this style of House music proves to be more and more attractive these days.

« FÊTE EN L’AIR », the first EP to be released at the end of May, is the project’s first achievement.
