Just Like You

We all struggle to find our purpose. We get built up to be knocked down, loved before we're hated, and connect just to be world's apart.
As a self described piece of shit, the majority of my time is spent weighing morality against personal gain. I've hurt far more people than I've helped, and rarely noticed.
I began the process of change when I turned 30. It was time to discover the beauty that is being present, to empathize, to explore; to rebuild.
We all have untapped gifts and buried emotions; this is my attempt to highlight my own story. I don't want fame, I don't want notoriety; I want inner peace.
I'd like to thank everybody involved in this project, whatever the input was. To my brother, Truth Willis - you taught me to embrace my faults, and have been a constant example of hope. To Sam - thank you for putting up with the boom
bap. To MS and Shawn- you became an integral part of my own journey without knowing it; thank you.
This is my "one day at a time", and I know the rebuild will be worth it.
