Panorama Bar resident and Love On The Rocks label head Paramida joins us for the 92nd edition of the Phonica Mix Series. 

Since moving to Berlin in 2010, Paramida has since become a key figure in the cities ever-expanding electronic music scene. In 2014 she launched her Love On The Rocks label which has seen releases from Massimiliano Pagliara, Telephones, Fantastic Man, Elles, Violet, Alex Kassian and more.  

Having spent five years working at Oye Records, Paramida is certainly no stranger to digging. Each of her varied DJ sets brings a new beacon of pleasure and surprise. Blending proto-house to trance, percussive gems with high-energy techno, Italian dream house and irresistible new beat. Sounds that are very much reflected in this here recording. Benjamin Fröhlich has struck many chords in the arena of electronic music over the past years: as a DJ, label owner and producer.
He is the co-founder of Permanent Vacation - one of the strongest running labels that has delivered genre-defining hits over the past decade. As such Benjamin Fröhlich has worked together with the household names of the international electronic dance scene. Artists on Permanent Vacation's roster include Massimiliano Pagliara, Perel, John Talabot, Todd Terje, Mano Le Tough,Chloe, Red Axes, Lauer, Fort Romeau, Pional and many more.

On top of his dedication to explore and feature rising as well as accomplished artists, Benjamin Fröhlich himself has emerged as a producer of vibrant tracks that are testament to his versatile and compelling approach to club music. His own productions and remixes are very well received by DJs and clubbers alike and got played all around the globe.

Starting out as a record shop owner in his hometown Munich (prior to his PV label work), Benjamin Fröhlich has developed an uplifting style in his DJ sets, which fuses House, Disco and Cosmic into hypnotic and enthusiastic nights. Next one for our OYE Podcast series is good friend and long time OYE customer Sara Miller. We are very happy to have her on board with such a good mood bringing mix, perfect to welcome summer.

Sara Miller is an Irish-born DJ, producer and sound engineer based in Berlin. Her party series Naive Melodies began in the Kreuzberg club Kleine Reise in 2012, before upping USB sticks and moving to Loftus Hall and STATTBAD. Through years as a product of her own parties and regular appearances at Berlin's legendary Renate, Sara honed her craft for extended sets with genre-bending selections. Over the past years, she has continued to play at many of Berlin's most respected clubs including Watergate, About Blank and ELSE as well as establishing her name across Europe and beyond. Her debut track Orange Sea, released in mid-2021 on the Munich label Permanent Vacation, has gained considerable momentum since its release including support from Roman Flügel and Jennifer Cardini.

Sara’s debut EP “Lunar Theory” will be released in May 2023 on Permanent Vacation. On the EP's four tracks, Sara has drawn inspiration from her broad musical knowledge and years of DJing experience and party wizardry. You can detect influences from classic 90's house, breakbeat, Italo and Acid in her tracks, all combined into a fresh and sparkling result. But music is not the only source of inspiration for this notorious night owl; nighttime and its celestial companion, the moon, are equally important to Sara’s work. So “Lunar Theory” is a sonic journey that attempts to reflect the movements of the moon. Four phases of moonlight manoeuvres written after dark.
