From the biggest little city, “thanks, I hate it,” aims to take the relentless 90s/00s style of Hard Dance to the modern era. He wants his tracks to break the notion that Hard Dance cannot be melodic, gritty, and groovy at the same time. The main goal for the “thanks, I hate it” project is for the listener to drop their notions of what’s “proper,” and instead, have fun. 

𝖙,𝖎𝖍𝖎 is a self-taught producer, audio engineer, and DJ known for his fast, glitched-out, and catchy brand of Hard Techno/Trance. 𝖙,𝖎𝖍𝖎 has paved the way in the Reno/Tahoe music scene for Techno, playing at all major clubs in the area. Through years of hard work, he has quickly been noticed by other Techno Hubs: SF (Audio SF), LV (OFDM), LA (Malfunction) to name a few. Although the 𝖙,𝖎𝖍𝖎 project is relatively new, he has turned some heads with his releases and got the attention of labels like Jahanam, Nullsect, Tx Records, and SpaceYacht.

As a producer, 𝖙,𝖎𝖍𝖎 aims to expand the ideas of the acceptable in the Techno scene with his blend of multiple genre types and production techniques. An avid Electronic listener since 15, 𝖙,𝖎𝖍𝖎 finds ways to blend different genre tropes into his music while expanding what is acceptable in the US Techno Scene. His productions/edits have been streamed around the world, charted on the “Beatport Top 100” Hard Techno chart, and play-listed on multiple Spotify playlists.

As a DJ, 𝖙,𝖎𝖍𝖎 aims to bridge the gap with his sound between the most veteran “Techno Snobs” and newbie Electronic fans alike. His dark mixes and Pop-Culture heavy edits not only get the dancefloor moving, but keep them there with random track inserts that truly make the listener go, “I need this track.” His unique sound has turned heads in the scene and led to a number of in and out of state bookings, and request for mixes.
