Laymoon Sets

This is part of a set I played at a Dhow party. A dhow is a magical wooden boat that was primarily used for pearl diving in the 19th century, hence the name "Diving For Pearls". The set goes through many emotions, starting with organic sounds and ending with more intensity, reflecting the pearl diver's moods during their voyages through turbulent waters. Hope you enjoy it!

Many of you are stuck in your rooms for New Year, but that doesn't mean it has to be a bad one. Just like I was in my room - alone - dancing and bobbing my head to some great melodic house and techno, you can too! This techno set was done for those who feel like they might be missing out on celebrating a new year but in reality, you're lucky enough to start at the bottom this year, so you can only go up! 
Here's to the New year, 2022, filled with new experiences and even better music. Let's only hope it's not another 2020 (or 2021 for that matter).
And remember kids, time is a social construct. The "New Year" isn't bad unless we decide that it's bad, so.... let's not?

This is the initiation of what we hope to continue - shooting techno / melodic techno / progressive / house / melodic house sets in the beautiful areas of Qatar. In our first edition, we are showcasing Lusail city in the FJ8 residential tower viewing the outstanding Katara Towers. Djs LAYMOON and the talented Marc Matar joined forces with leading videographer Youssef Yousry in bringing you a high energy B2B techno set packed with analog sounds, fat synths and drops beyond description. The techno scene in Qatar is developing with the help of local Djs and producers and we hope to showcase these talents.
