Splatterpunk opens with an homage to breakbeat & glitch-hop tracks of an era which I hold quite dearly, leading to a warped and construed moment of our current state of sound. The song's voice brings a combination of funk, punk, and dirty sound design to a forefront and shows the influences that Tipper, Kursa and other greats the scene has witnessed. Splatterpunk pushes an image of a messy punk in our modern age, unwilling to be confined to any format or medium it's forced into.
