klympt (aka emitter) is a dj and producer from aachen. he is part of TBA, organizing parties and concerts, as well as heavy rotation, hosting a monthly show on call shop radio. his sound range covers all sorts of electronic music with his roots being in dubstep – which is where he takes us for this vinyl only mix. enjoy one hour of carefully selected deep cuts inviting you to dream away and reminding you to slow down and take care of yourself during cold and darker times.

Perhaps most known for his work as half of techno outfit Cassegrain, Istanbul native Hüseyin Evirgen has been active as solo artist since 2016 and making a name in his own right. His early classical training has taken a broader form in more recent years, a mashup of inspirations with strong mathematical current where simple ideas culminate in more complex and exponential compositions. Under the name Magna Pia, and adjunct label Arcing Seas his hulking techno has taken shape, and the imprint’s proven a platform for the publishing of his own work, Cassegrain’s and that of a small number of his close collaborators. His driving beats offer powerful and provocative moments mixed in with a clever spin on ambient that’s recognizable from a mile off, and constantly pushing what’s possible in sound to new and unforeseen heights. His 2019 album Daiauna was a return to roots record that incorporated his earlier training as piano player with the fluid electronics developed since, foraging too from his keen instinct for primal rhythms and high-brow symbolism. In the end it’s deeply physical, and proof of techno’s staying power as a medium for dance and social change. Bassiani Podcast 27 covers all these bases and more, an honest and striking addition to a body of work in constant flux. 4/4 magic from a true master.

DJ SKIN is a London born, Berlin-based DJ and resident for the Berlin rising collective Iterations. She has played since 2019 across Europe and in Berlin for labels such as BCCO, Crude, and MUSA, this year closing for Weeeirdos at Berghain’s Saule. She has built a reputation for delivering solid sets that showcase her love of multiple genres and sounds, particularly tripped-out fresh out the box techno and old school minimal psy. Low end heavy, she likes to blend rhythms and mind-bending textures to craft journeys for the senses and keep the dancefloor locked in from start to finish.

She will be bringing in the New Year in Berlin for the BCCO x POLYAMOR 46H NYE Marathon at Zenner. 

Influences/emotions put into this mix: 

This one came together kind of by itself. Winter is here and has brought with it a more stripped back, reflective mood. I find the dancefloor can be a reflective, cathartic space to process thoughts instinctually through movement. You can have thoughts, these mental soundbites, be like a call and response from the music to the mind, the mind to the body. They wash over you and settle in their natural place. I wanted to reflect this call and response nature in this mix.

Depuis 2019, elle joue à travers l’Europe et à Berlin pour des labels tels que BCCO, Crude et MUSA — et a notamment clôturé cette année la soirée Weeeirdos à la Säule du Berghain. Elle s’est forgé une réputation pour des sets solides qui reflètent son amour de multiples genres et textures, en particulier une techno psychée, fraîche et déstructurée, ainsi qu’une old school minimal psy. Très axée basses fréquences, elle aime mêler rythmes et textures déroutantes pour créer de véritables voyages sensoriels et garder le dancefloor captivé du début à la fin.

Influences/émotions mises dans ce mix :

Ce mix s’est presque construit tout seul. L’hiver est là, avec une humeur plus épurée, introspective. Je trouve que le dancefloor peut être un espace cathartique, un lieu où l’on peut traiter ses pensées de manière instinctive à travers le mouvement. On peut avoir des pensées, des sortes de petites capsules mentales, qui deviennent un jeu d’appel et de réponse entre la musique et l’esprit, puis entre l’esprit et le corps. Elles passent à travers toi et trouvent naturellement leur place. J’ai voulu retranscrire ce rapport d’appel et de réponse dans ce mix.

Reka Zalan is a Berlin-based DJ, born to a Hungarian father and a German-Dutch mother. Her sets unfold with a keen sense of focus, shifting between hypnotic depth and percussive drive. Navigating through different shades of techno with an open heart, she weaves together trippy, sometimes psy-tinged tension, rattling grooves, mental maelstroms, and uplifting momentum into one coherent arc. 

Off the dancefloor, Reka has been part of the Hard Wax record store team since 2019, where she continues to deepen and broaden her musical horizons. She is also a member of coppi, a cultural space and collective in Lichtenberg that hosts weekly community-led studio sessions. Before fully immersing herself in club culture, she worked at the Berlin Music Commission, supporting the city’s music industry network.

Whether behind the decks or behind the scenes, Reka is driven by curiosity and a deep sense of connection with like-minded people — always aiming to build bridges through a shared love of sound and collective experience.
