Having explored mixing in slightly lower BPMs for a while, experimenting with varying levels of energy. I found that it was about time to record a mix with some PEAK TIME energy 😈.

As usual; this set contains proper techno, retaining a rhythmic flow and hypnotic energy throughout. This set does not let go of your attention, as the pounding kicks keep coming and coming, making you wanna dance non-stop!

"This recording was about overcoming my own preconceived boundaries. Music works best when played intuitively and this is the result. A 1 hour set/podcast is always a bit different than a club gig. Geheimclub Podcast 094 - Noëtik

Born and raised in Hamburg, Hⱥki's first contact with the world of electronic music has been through subgenres like UK Dub as well as Chicago-based music such as Footwork and Juke. It was just a matter of time, being the music nerd he always was, that his focus then found its way to the underground sound of Detroit Techno. 
His life’s journey then led him to the techno city Berlin, for a short, intense but nevertheless life-changing stay. There it was none other than italian maestro Freddy K who inspired Hⱥki with one of his infamous Berghain closing sets. The direction in which Hⱥki's musical path went from that point on was set.
After things led him to the small city of Kiel, he met his label partner in crime Pri. The imprint of Stable Techno was born and they found a fitting home with their residency at Luna Club.

Montague is an Italian and Spanish DJ and producer based in Berlin, known for his hypnotic rhythms and classic grooves. With a finely tuned percussive approach, he masterfully layers tracks across four decks, blending digital and vinyl to create high-energy sets that keep the dance floor moving. His infectious energy and deep passion for music make his performances irresistible, both on and off the floor.

This mix, recorded in Montague’s home studio, showcases a carefully curated selection of tracks collected over the years. Spanning from early 2000s releases to modern hypnotic techno, it features several of his own unreleased productions, brought to life with three digital players, a reverb pedal, and an old-school Xone:62 mixer.

BIOGENIC OUTBREAK | WHEN HUMANITY BECOMES THE VIRUS

In the cold, sterile confines of Laboratory K-42, humanity’s ambition to conquer disease gave birth to its greatest nightmare. A groundbreaking pathogen, codenamed Xylenoid, was engineered to test the resilience of newly developed antibiotics. It was a marvel of science—adaptive, intelligent, and insidious. But the brilliance of human innovation proved no match for its own hubris. One fateful day, amidst flashing alarms and desperate shouts, the containment protocols failed. Xylenoid escaped.

The pathogen did not kill its victims outright; it transformed them into hosts—living, breathing extensions of the virus itself. Flesh twisted into grotesque structures resembling fungal growths intertwined with metallic strands. Skin became a hive of pulsating nodes, and the infected no longer moved with human intent but with a collective, viral purpose. Cities fell silent as streets filled with the haunting echoes of distorted, inhuman cries. The virus was not merely spreading; it was evolving, rewriting its hosts into its own image.

From afar, the infected resembled eerie sculptures, standing as twisted monuments to humanity’s failure. As Xylenoid's influence grew, so did its reach, corrupting not only bodies but digital systems. Communications networks faltered, displaying cryptic patterns that seemed to pulse with a sinister rhythm. The world fell into chaos, its people consumed by the very thing they sought to control. 

Scientists scrambled to devise a countermeasure, but Xylenoid was relentless, adapting faster than they could respond. For every potential cure, the virus mutated, pushing the boundaries of its terrifying potential. Society fractured into isolated enclaves, where survivors whispered tales of a creeping entity that turned hope into despair.

Amongst the ruins, techno beats reverberated through the silence, as artists and survivors alike turned their anguish into music. The pulsating rhythms became an anthem of resistance, a defiant cry in the face of extinction. The melodies carried the echoes of a world that was, and a world that could yet be—if humanity could find the strength to rise again.
