Originally from Bourges, France, RAFA.wav discovered electroacoustic music during his teenage years at the regional conservatory before moving to Paris to study sound engineering.
In the early 2010s, he was introduced to dubstep through the brostep wave, later gravitating toward UK and deep dubstep, influenced by dub sound system culture.
His sound also draws from bass music, experimental noise, industrial techno, and trip hop.
He continues his electroacoustic work at the CRR of Paris, blending experimental approaches with bass-driven music.

With over 17 years of experience in both production and DJing, you can always count on some underground sub pressure in his tracks and mixes. Having previously released music on labels such as CNCPT, Stolen Groove (Major Oak), and Biscuit Factory, he is now excited to offer some fresh sounds and ideas in 2023. His distinctive sound is a fusion of dub, garage, and minimal 140 that is engulfed by bass and vibes.
