Laumee’s story began moving to London from a small town in Lithuania. When a chef at his current work at a time thought that this 23-year-old geeky waiter with a bow tie somehow might be into electronic dance music. After being invited to Brixton Academy's New Year Circoloco party Laumee knew that was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
His sound can be described as mysterious & positive – a fusion of underground house music, tech-house, and minimal. Laumee draws inspiration from artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, Rhadoo, Cally, Sonja Moonear, Margaret Dygas, Zip, Traumer, and a few prominent names.
Laumee’s sets are fueled with captivating energy, unexpected twists, and turns, catchy hooks and vocals.

Straight off the back of his new Bright EP (JOULE01) we’re bringing you a very special Meoko mix from Parisian producer Janeret. With over a dozen vinyl releases on a variety of record labels such as Mile High Records and Flyance Records the house and techno producer/ DJ is steadily securing his place in the scene. This bass-fuelled percussive mix makes the listener feel as if they’re stuck inside a computer, showcasing a range of well thought out selections featuring glitchy timbres to synthy space delight and carefully placed out of this world vocal samples. The smooth mixing and ever-changing textural layers with a constant strong beat make this mix sound like one long and complex track, managing to transport us to a dingy Parisian warehouse with low lighting and a heavy sound system. The deep and dub DJ is playing at The Pickle Factory on October 1st, but until then, sit back and enjoy the sounds of Janeret.
