With Alchemy Coil, I wanted to capture the feeling of ancient alchemists working with elements, but through sound. The track is the fire, the rhythm is the water, and the vibration is the air that carries transformation.

It starts without rush. Natural sounds, soft pads, a diverse soundscape, open minded. Then the bass is coming in - straight and loud. A mixture of organic and electronic music, a mixture of old and new - welcome at the “Ancient Lake“, so clear and colorful. We are invited by Jonas Saalbach, a well known Live Act and producer from Berlin. On his first album he combines melodies and dancefloor elements, hard bass lines and story telling instruments. 

We’ll find tracks grown with time on the album. Some are based on classical techno styles like “Driven By Madness feat. MZ Sunday Luv“ and “Hammada“. Others are made for listening and dreaming like “Thinking Of You“ and “June Gloom“. You can feel the spirit of summer in every number, the desire for adventures in the nature, the energy of the sun. Jonas Saalbach presents his summary of a year full of travels and studio nights. His cooperations with Paul Klatt for example, are an important part of his work. Berlin is a big playground for him with a lot of inspiration every day and so the album is like a story board of life, a perfect starter for a new season, energetic and unstoppably creative.

Following the debut of his track 'Marta' a couple of months ago on our 'Miami WMC 2016' Sampler, Armen Miran is back to showcase his latest 'Lost Found EP'.

The EP includes two eclectic original tracks named 'Lost Found' & 'Jojo In The Stars'. Both are organically produced in slow-motion with ethnically charged drum patterns, melodies and vocals. 

On remix duties, first up, we welcome back Hraach who delivers a Slow remake  of 'Jojo In The Stars'. Known for his keyboard work, Hraach wrote and composed his own melodies and injected a little more ethnicity, nostalgia and drama into his timeless rendition. 

Last but certainly not least, we are also happy to welcome back Robot Needs Oil to the label who delivers a groovy, tribalistic and four to the floor club version of 'Jojo In The Stars' that's destined for the late night hours.

Thom Nagy, journalist and passionate musician, makes the EP "You Don't Know", which we release digitally as well as vinyl, to something very special. Two of the four tracks included on the EP, called "Bloom" and "You Don't Know", are due to him. The disc is refined with two remixes by Dandara and Arutani, who met each other through the Basel-based label LOKD. They created a wonderful remix of the track "You Don't Know". The breezy and percussive sounds of Timujin arrive on Flying Circus Recordings, just in time for the hot balmy nights of summer. The London based producer has already impressed on a handful of releases and remixes already, and the “Why Not?” EP sees the young artist continue to explore melodies and global, spiritual atmospheres with his music.

Live drum sounds and tropical ambience are at the core of “Katana” whilst brooding, low-end synths weave around the rhythmic patterns. On “Why Not?” we are treated to an alluring blend of mallet instrumentation, shuffling shakers and elevating chants, and the accompanying Francesco Mami Remix toughens up the sound a few notches, with a blistering and twisted tech-chugger of a remix!
