Ready Mix Records founder BiGz joins forces with newcomer ELO for label release number 253, 'Beautiful Africa', featuring show-stopping vocals by Farafi, and remixes by Alex Doering and Khaaron.

Linking up with BiGz for the first time, Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Ole Leesker, aka ELO turns in a stunningly deep debut, with more than a little help from talented Afro-inspired vocal duo Farafi.
 
BiGz and ELO slow the tempo for their Downtempo version, but turn up the intensity with dramatic minor key stabs and cave-like atmospherics.

Amsterdam-based Swedish duo Marmolak return to Ready Mix Records for label release 257, comprising three original tracks, plus remixes by BiGz and Serhe.

Childhood friends Nima & Victor, aka Marmolak describe themselves as 'heavily inspired by radiant Moroccan bazaars and dimly-lit Tehran nights'. These influences glimmer throughout opening cut 'Azul', a subtle and atmospheric arrangement which features haunting flutes and metallic percussion flourishes.

Ready Mix founder BiGz cooks up a delectable helping of electronic dub, gently blending the original parts into a smooth and nutritious groove-cake, with an icing that's all his own.
