Next, on ICONYC we have the remix edition of TH;EN & Starkato’s ‘Tease’featuring 2 monumental remixes from D-Formation & Li-Polymer. Hailing from TH;EN and Starkato have been regulars on some of the world’s finest labels with their progressive and melodic techno influenced driving productions. For the remix edition of their classic smash ‘Tease’, we welcome Beatfreak head honcho and all-around good guy D-Formation and label favorite Li-Polymer. 'Both remixes feature rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive house vibes to satisfy ambient, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release.

First up we have D-Formation who needs no introduction. The Beatfreak label boss’s maturity and musical development are in full swing, as he kicks off proceedings with a deep, hypnotic beat which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a profound floaty grooves and indie influences, turning this one into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the remix underpinned by a staccatoed bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect.

Next up we welcome back Li-Polymer who a few weeks back featured on the label with his wonderful ‘How They Shine’. Li-Polymer delivers another gem with is deep rework. His remix is interspersing with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement, with the understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. Li-Polymer manages to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. Essential stuff from Li-Polymer.

For our 199th release on Ready Mix Records, we welcome Sobhan, a musical nomad currently based in Australia, but with musical roots that span the globe. 

Title track 'Reverie' displays Sobhan's diverse musical influences in glorious Technicolor, with Spanish guitars rubbing shoulders with ethereal female vocals and sweeping reversed sitars; an eclectic musical melting pot drawn together with gossamer-like threads of electronic production. 

For his Dub mix, Sobhan re-imagines 'Reverie' with fragments of male vocal, almost as a response to the original version, whilst adding some subtle drama to the arrangement.

North Adriatic duo Kiano & Below Bangkok provide Reverie's first remix, raising both the tempo and intensity to spine-tingling effect. 

Next up, Highland Brothers UTD turn in a tight tech house rework, taking 'Reverie' into steady-building late night territory. 

Lastly but by no means leastly, Greek wunderkind Haris Kate delivers a beautifully poised and atmospheric mix, equally enjoyable at home, on the terrace or the after-party.
