Greek producer George X can count some of the world's most influential deep house DJ's among his growing number of fans, so we are excited to present two of his new original tracks, plus remixes from Death on the Balcony and Staves.

Opening track 'Rainbow' is a finely poised, dreamy and musically rich deep house cut, with lush strings, subtle melodies and spine-tingling vocal snippets.

Young Italian duo Staves turn in a warm, slightly techier version of 'Rainbow', re-framing many of the original's most beautiful elements whilst allowing even more space for them to breathe.

Second original track 'Madness' fuses cinematic, strings and tabla atmospheres straight out of a 70's film soundtrack, with electro-inspired drums and an off-kilter arrangement to deliver a uniquely potent, timeless vibe.

Finally 'All Day I Dream' stalwarts Death on the Balcony take 'Madness' into typically hypnotic, floaty territory, creating a perfect groove for the terrace or the afterparty (or even better, an afterparty on the terrace).

Man of mystery Enduro Disco received plenty of plaudits for his first three releases on Exploited Ghetto. Something tells us that this new contribution to Exploited (originally released on Vinyl Only on Shir Khan's helmed Black Jukebox series) will set plenty of pulses racing, too. Check first the dreamy and loved-up roll of opener "The Knowledge", which sounds like a house remake of a lesser-celebrated 1980s Miami synth-pop cut, before sinking your teeth into the swirling, piano-sporting late night house bliss of "Believe". 
"The Knowledge" introduces the EP through a slow and steady climb, wobbly bass shards and a suspended pad holding our attention as the excitement levels rise. "Believe" sees the first proper rush of endorphins burst off the wax, as a scintillating synthetic soundbed ripples and fizzes through our core in a exquisite display of blissed-out prowess.

On the heels of the recent arrival of Sound Quelle's debut artist album ("Iridescent"), we're excited to share several visionary new interpretations of two of the standout tracks from that LP: "Iridescent" (the title cut) and "Boundless". Ranging from uplifting to deeply atmospheric, each remix captures a unique mood, inspired by Sound Quelle's sonic alchemy with singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca, who graced both original tracks. A trio of venerable label veterans -- Forerunners, eleven.five, and Manu Zain -- each contribute a stunning take. Melodic maestro French-Canadian producer @gabrhome and the versatile @evrenfurtuna use their different cultural backgrounds to create an evocative, watery melodic exploration named after that traveller in two worlds, the salmon, swimming now against, now with the current, in waters both sweet and salt. ‘Salmo Salar’ has a sizzling summer touch. Its intro blends mingling mood-inducing chords in voices and strings, taking us underwater before a light but determined beat kicks in, spangled with piano arpeggios and snatches of melody as the spiritual vocals continue to evoke a watery vibe. The sustained breakdown surprises with a new clarinet tune, almost middle eastern, marking a shift of phase, after which a freer, jazzy feel predominates. ‘Salmo Salar’ launches on Saisons on July 10.

Russian brothers Sasha and Sergey Lipsky return to Disco Halal for the third time under their famed Simple Symmetry project. Following off the back of Auntie Flo’s ‘Kabsa’, the duo’s ‘Gilgamesh’ EP is the fourth release for the label this year and continues to build upon Disco Halal’s successful trajectory.

The ‘Gilgamesh’ EP draws inspiration from the epic novel of the same name, the oldest story known to man. Leading with the title track, Simple Symmetry teams up with Mexican producer Inigo Vontier for a signature Shamanic chugger whilst one of their solo efforts ‘Fight’ is a string-heavy, psychedelic soundscape. Named after Gilgamesh’s faithful sidekick, ‘Enkidu’ continues this kaleidoscopic theme with Krautrock influences with Adam Port’s ‘Tulum By Night’ contrasting edit turns the record into a big room melody. The remix has already been heavily supported by Moscoman, Keinemusik, Âme and Dixon.

Based in Berlin, but firmly rooted in the diverse and forward-facing musical scene of Tel Aviv, Moscoman’s Disco Halal label hails from beneath the minarets of the Holy Land. The imprint exists to present a tight-knit and growing community of musicians and producers, each transmitting their unique musical identity, yet each united by a unique sensibility, as well as a harmonious balance of rhythm and experimentation.

Encompassing elements of downtempo, new-wave and alternative pop, stitched together with a leftfield dancefloor throb, Disco Halal’s back-catalogue, filled with efforts from the likes of Simple Symmetry, The Organism and Moscoman himself, has seen the imprint rapidly emerging from the once-overlooked nightlife and club scene of Tel Aviv into the worldwide spectrum.
