Started as an event promoter and club selector at a local club, he is now one of the main figures responsible for the development of the tricity electronic music scene. As a resident, booker, artistic manager and one of the Crackhouse’s founders he’s constantly trying to push the club’s quality even further which results in unforgettable nights and blurry mornings. This vision goes beyond the club. In 2023 he co-founded @ic-trax - a label focused on providing proper sound to the dancefloors worldwide. In sets - whether techno or minimal - he’s mainly focused on rolling & groovy rhythms, dark atmospheres and eerie & catchy FXs.

Amsterdam-based DJ and producer, and host of Roaming Edges, Liane has a way of creating sets that blend deep, raw, dark, and industrial sounds into an unforgettable experience. Her music takes you on a journey full of tension and release, breaking the flow and rebuilding it in the most captivating way.

Liane says, “I tested broken rhythms and combined them with techno. It’s hard to describe, but I wanted to create something where the emotion shifts quickly, breaking the story and then piecing it back together.”

We’ve also had the pleasure of interviewing Liane for a closer look at her vision and personality—Here it is:

Q- Salam love!! Please share with us your pronouns? & your favorite record?
A- Heyyyyy!! My pronouns are she/her. Favorite record is a tough one.. mm recently I re-listened to Osheyack's LP Intimate Public and it is definitely one of my favorites. You can find some tracks from it in the mix :) 

Q- we know that you’ve been featured multiple times at the infamous DE SCHOOL, Amsterdam. Take us into a journey remembering one of your most exciting moments there. 
A- First of all I remember vividly the sound in the booth and space - its a vibrant memory. If I have to choose only one moment it would be the room filling up while I was playing an ambient and experimental intro and people standing listening. The tension build and the rhythm slowly giving a structure, until the first kick. 
 
Q- you’ve recently shared the booth with me at OHM, what are your aspirations as an artist and how do you prepare for your sets?

A- I prepare by creating a new playlist each time - i see it a bit like a collection I have that I choose from for each gig- maybe similar to vinyl djs in the preparing process. As for my aspirations I'm aiming to create a journey that is not only emotional rather a journey that creates a mental stimulation as well. This is how I enjoy music and its something I aim for also in the club. 

Q- if there’s one advice you could give the younger generation that’s seeking genuine connection beyond social media platforms. What would this advice be?
A-Give things time.

Outkarner is a DJ and a beginner producer. One of her tracks has been featured on the well-known Hor Berlin radio. In her work, she focuses on different styles of techno. It can be serious, or morning hypnotising techno, with beautiful melodies and grooves.

This mix is a two-hour session full of tracks from some of her favourite producers, with many fascinating rhythms within them.

This week's Global Vibe Radio mix features the Chicago Techno sounds of Submerge.

Orlando Solis, also known as Submerge, is an American electronic music producer and DJ from Chicago, and son of successful musician Jose Luis Napoleon Solis. The techno aficionado can now be found playing some of the world’s most renowned places such as Berlin’s Berghain, Tresor, Chicago's Smart Bar, Platoon South Korea, Spain’s Fabrik, Vienna’s Camera Club, Nature One, and Def-Con 1 festival. 

Known for running the label Impact Mechanics, Orlando Solis own productions can also be found on other well-respected labels such as  Mote Evolver, Suara, Sleaze Records, Planet Rhythm Records, Kombination Research, and Illegal Alien.

After successfully touring Europe several times in 2010, his appearance has been in demand each and every year. Submerge’s technical knowledge has landed him an endorsement by the respectable company Allen and Heath and his knowledge of IT has also landed him work at
the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
