Embracing these strong musical roots, it was only natural that in 2010 following a move to Berlin, she found herself becoming immersed in the house and techno scene that the magical city has to offer. In her own words, Nur is on a journey to “communicate in the language of music.”

Techno is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Sept. He has been always far away from the mainstream beats. His dj sets and live acts are a musical trip and his sound has continuously evolved always staying true to his Techno roots. In addition, Sept is showing a wide delicate mixture of darkness and light, creating a sonic musical journey that took him to play in the most respected clubs around Europe and South America…

Acierate. [ˈæsɪəˌreɪt]. Verb (transitive). To convert (iron) into steel. That is at least what the Oxford English Dictionary might tell you if you searched for the meaning of this word. 
If you’d ask any raver from European Techno hotspots nowadays, like Berlin, Paris, Tbilisi or Barcelona, who haven’t been hiding under rocks for the past few years, they might give you a different definition. 

They might tell you a story. A story about a DJ they can’t forget. A DJ who provided them with sonic experiences in a class of their own. Drivy, aggressive synth leads, encased by hammering industrial tunes. Music, so energetic, so undeniably going forward that it almost hurts not dancing to it. Because that’s what Berlin born and bred Acierate is serving his audiences. 

The founder of SYNOID and resident of Berlin’s infamous Griessmuehle has an indisputable reputation for unapologetic DJ sets driven by an unquenchable thirst for rave. Not in the sense of bluntly sequencing matching records, but in building up musical narrations. Telling stories not with words but with synth lines, high hats, snares, and a hell of a lot of bass drum. Converting sonic energy into physical movement

Tham is an up-and-coming artist from Berlin, where he’s also one half behind the infamous SYNOID series and resident at Griessmuehle.

As he discovered his love for electronic music on the city’s dancefloors, his style of DJing is all about the dancefloor: creating an energetic flow using industrial tunes and aggressive synth sounds.

The same goes for his productions, which made him part of the rising techno label “Lebendig”.

@Gracedahl is a Techno DJ/Producer based in Amsterdam, making a name for herself with her stellar DJ performances and her flourishing skill for production.

Momentarily she finds her inspiration within a lot of old-school UK influences while mainly focussing on the more powerful, straightforward spectrum of Techno. She builds tension by adding current industrial touches, leading acid lines and sinister vocals to her otherwise dominating old-school sound.

She has notably destroyed the Unpolished and Vault Session Warehouse Elementenstraat on several occasions and you will understand why once you'll have listen to this set.

We are more than happy to welcome her into the Dusk Family!

DUSKCAST 31 | Grace Dahl

A DJ/producer with trance and dark techno influences, @cassie_raptor plunges the dancefloor in a dark and burning atmosphere. Powerful kicks, organic textures, screaming voices - her sets release a cathartic energy, a visceral and determined sound that escapes the evidence. An ecstatic chase between distressing and luminous atmospheres where broken rhythms, elements of industrial noise and acid converge in a liberating clubbing experience.
