Next up we have Somniac One for Artaphine Series. Mostly known for her industrial hardcore takes, releasing on PRSPCT and playing the big hardcore festivals, now she's playing more and more at techno-related events, with the last one being Unpolished before the lockdown hit. For her latest track Smoke Eater on RAW, she's diving into the 'less is more' principe. We think that the next hour for Artaphine Series perfectly embodies the same concept, while still maintaining the energy we're used from her sets.

Originally, Yuri van Vlijmen from Mindustries was supposed to do this month's Kapotcast mix. Tragically, as most of you know, he passed away last June, leaving a void both in our hearts and in the darker regions of the hardcore techno scene. Therefore, it couldn't be more fitting to dedicate this edition to filling some of that void with the very essence of his legacy.

Immerse yourself in this tribute (mega)mix by Symp.tom's label chief, Mental Wreckage. This is more than just a playlist - it's a showcase & time capsule of Yuri's impressive music career, featuring all of his released tracks, collaborations, and remixes (both solo and with Nils, his Mindustries partner in crime). This is a special one. 

Representing all the rollercoaster feelings we all went through in this year 2020. From the darkest of moments to straight up euphoria and dancefloor energy. Who isn't sick of this sh*t anyway, It's time to move on and forget this year. 
Let's have a little dance shall we?

I started mixing this the day my beloved grandmother passed away due to covid.
So, a extra amount of emotion, energy and frustration went into this.

For me it doesn't just represent the loss of dear friends, family, freedome, income and life in general I dealt with this year, but it also embraces hope for the future, for new idea's, for a better attitude, open mindedness, new friendships, new adventures, and what the heck, love.

I hope you all enjoy this one as much as i have.
