Coming off the release of his 2016 debut mixtape "Real Life No Movie" which was made in honor of his deceased older brother Tremaine "True" Scott; The young Chicago rapper stays on a consistent roll with the release of his 2nd project 
"2X EP" Hosted by "DJ Amaris" the official DJ for Chief Keef. "2X" is a tribute to his close friend "Cello 2x" whom like MONI's brother "True" Scott, was also a victim to Chicago Gun Violence in early 2017. 

MONI has lost several family and friends to Chicago Gun Violence and it often causes a state of depression however he's made a conscious decision to express his pain through his music. MONI continues to provide his growing audience a glimpse into his harsh reality growing up as an Black Teen in Chicago's urban jungle.
