VIOLENT DIVINE – formed in late 2005, unanimously praised for their 2006 debut album (Chavis Records) by critics and fans alike. The album spawned 3 singles: Rush You , Let’s Go and Levitate and made great impact in numerous international radio stations as well as in major Swedish radio stations. International press said: ”Rock and roll is back and going to be louder and more alive than ever before” and ”twelve orgasmic tracks of sex, sex and rock n fuckin roll”.

VIOLENT DIVINE released their second album ”In Harm’s Way” (Misty Recordings) on January 31, 2009. The album is mixed and produced by Pontus Norgren, guitarist of Swedish metal act Hammerfall. It was a natural choice to work together with a highly acclaimed sound engineer and musician like Pontus Norgren, with his long experience of both live and studio and who’s previously worked with bands like Europe and Yngwie Malmsteen.

VIOLENT DIVINE released their self produced third album RELEASE THE HOUNDS on Swedmetal Records on March 11, 2010. Swedmetal Records says: ”This will be one of 2010 best albums in this genre. Fantastic raw hard-driving melodic rock n roll – just the way it’s meant to be!”

VIOLENT DIVINE was re-animated in 2011 with a new line-up with Mike on vocals, S.J on lead guitar, Oscar on bass and Simon on drums. The band released their long awaited album "Violent Divine Hyperactivity Disorder" on December 4, 2015. Reviews said "With their fourth album, ”Hyperactivity Disorder”, VIOLENT DIVINE are dropping another bomb of sheer streetwise Metal, puncturing hearts in every turn" and "It’s not trendy as it’s pure and with a huge dose of Rock, so consider it timeless" to name only a few.

VIOLENT DIVINE will release their 5th album later in 2017. 13 highly intensive tracks that will grab you from the first note to the last and make you want to spin the album again and again. This is music that matters!

The seeds of Xilla were first sewn at the end of the world, 2012, when brothers Greg and Rich Pullin along with Chris Flanagan and Pete Smyth first came together
with the intention of creating something distinct and utterly memorable.

Fast forward to 2018 and with the arrival of frontman Leigh Oates (Order of Voices,
Soldierfield, Rise to Addiction), the final piece of the Xilla puzzle was in place.

2018 saw the band work tirelessly perfecting and recording their debut album.
The band enlisted the help of John Mitchell (You Me at Six,
Architects, Enter Shikari) for his formidable mixing expertise on the piece.

Released worldwide on March 31st 2019, the critically acclaimed debut album ‘Distant Minds’ blew reviewers away, gaining great reviews in prestigious magazines such as 'Prog' and 'Powerplay' Magazine.

The album was followed up by 2 new singles in 2020 & 2021 releasing 'Live Again' & 'Cornerstone', before parting ways with Drummer, Pete Smyth. 

The band have now readied new music for release in 2024, first of which is 'Like Vultures' available worldwide 31st Jan 2024!
