Ok, I'll be real. Today's track was super difficult to get over the line.

First, I opened Ableton at 10pm because of other important matters I had to attend to.

Then, after producing a sound that I liked, every export of the file had sample rate issues. Most likely because the initial samples were not at 44.1kHz sample rate. This meant, the rendered audio sounds much deeper (tonality-wise) than my project file.

And lastly, when I tried to restart my computer, my external SSD drive decided to die. All samples gone. Luckily, I'm saving (only) the exported audio files in a different location.

I guess all of this fits the mood & idea of this track. I imagined it as a soundtrack for a sci-fi or thriller flick. But turns out it was the soundtrack to my own production process today.
