Salvation
The heavy bass notes of the title track draws you in, beyond the velvet rope, past figures dancing like shadows on your periphery. It is a throbbing heartbeat that grows more desperate with every step towards a back room—and once inside, the sinister melody is unleashed around you. Through the haze of smoke you can see the faces of others, joined by the rhythm, all seeking the same thing: their own little slice of salvation. Eyes meet, bottles pour, and the night passes by in a staccato slideshow of triumphant moments. The beat winds down, and so does the night; did you find what you were looking for?

The Stranger
The Stranger starts the EP off without any unnecessary prelude: the track's frenetic energy demands your immediate attention. The eponymous stranger is a phantom, lit by flickering neon and buzzing streetlamps, stalking the alleyways of a city that lives by night. It is an insistent, dangerous hunger that reverberates against the steel and glass of skyscrapers, driving towards an exultant release.

Los Angeles–based DJ and producer Realize employs the esoteric art of using darkness as a vehicle for transcendence. His music is defined by lush landscapes with tense buildups which gradually culminate to heads down, pensive grooves. When behind the decks, he mixes cavernous bass lines, haunting elements, and uncanny atmospheres.

Realize’s productions can be found on Grand Grooves, Delusional Records, and Understated @ Nite. His tracks have received support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren, and Chris Fortier.

Performances span from appearances for Incognito, FNGRS CRSSD, and Underrated to the historic Avalon Hollywood alongside artists such as Heartthrob, Worakls, and Low Steppa.

Synthetik Sounds Unveils Star-Studded Compilation to Support LA Fire Relief Efforts

Los Angeles techno label Synthetik Sounds is proud to announce the release of a powerful 39-track Various Artists compilation featuring an extraordinary lineup of global techno talent. In a time of urgent need, 100% of proceeds from the compilation will be donated to LA Fire Relief Funds, supporting communities affected by the devastating wildfires that created havoc in the Los Angeles area in January 2025.

In January 2025, the Palisades and Eaton wildfires in Los Angeles County burned over 37,000 acres, destroyed more than 16,000 structures, caused at least 29 fatalities, and led to the evacuation of over 200,000 residents, affecting many in the underground techno and house community in our city.

When we asked artists to contribute to a V/A release to help our community, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the amount of support we received.

This monumental release unites over 40 cutting-edge artists, all contributing their signature sounds to this meaningful cause. From techno veterans to rising stars, the compilation is a showcase of boundary-pushing artistry and the unity of the electronic music community.
