Demon's Physics Mix was hugely inspirational to me, came out around the time I was starting to get into the deep side of Dubstep. I thought it would be fun/good practice to try re-creating it. Eyeballed the levels. I don't think this compares to the original but it was fun to make, and gave me some ideas.

Last tune comes in weird, wasn't ready for the bpm change and had to wing it. Tracks with asterisks were substituted in, as the original mix had some (still) unreleased material (though I think the Wonderland VIP in the original tracklist was a typo, sounds the same to me). 

I also experimented with samples for the first time. Took one from Catacombs & Knowledge - Old Town (District Remix) [first track in the original mix]; the other I took from Naruto. No real reason behind them other than they sounded cool and were easy to sample (decided to try it right before I started recording).

Here are 8 tracks picked from the locker from the past 4-6 years, this is a prime example of me learning and honing my sound bringing me to a place where I'm finally happy with my productions, being happy and fulfilled with my music and proud to show it off. These are a representation of 10 years of producing and still not being in a place to willingly send to bucket list labels of mine. After 13 years of producing and more playing instruments I'm ready to share these older projects rather than just sit on them letting them gather dust.

Mikrodot's Monastery paves the way into deep sub driven vibes with Tetrad and newcomer, Boneless carrying the vibe into darker and deeper territory. Repulsion's "VRR" takes the mood of the compilation into darker territory as it flips between breakbeats and minimalist influences. Newcomers Buex & No Compli balance floaty textures of atmosphere with jungle influenced breakbeats in their track "Ghosts Of Spice". While Inertia changes the direction of the album with his track "Nobody" featuring a massive, thick reverberating subline with a distorted Reese, it segues nicely into the album closing tracks by Split and NRB finishing out the album on a more aggressive and heavy feeling. This album explores the broad sound on After Dark Music."

Today, on 7/9/25, I’m closing this chapter and 7Kidz will come to an end.

This project has been with me for 7 unforgettable years and it allowed me to express a part of myself that I’ll never forget.
