SPÆCE JAM

SPæce Jam is the Afro futurist audio-visual music experience from Jamaali a.k.a. Jam Jam Art, who dreamed of becoming a DJ and making hiphop beats for years. Yet, throughout primary school and college he would find himself focusing on visual art. After developing a successful visual arts career Jam has been able to find new creativity territory through audio production which brings to life the sounds in his head. Before producing however, Jam became involved playing African djembe drums as a way to connect with his black roots, where syncopation and rhythm are key the foundation of the music. He moves forward in the creative space with the power of his ancestors guiding him.

Djing for almost 30 years, covering a wide range of dance music from hardcore, jungle tekno, happy hardcore, dutch hardcore, trance/hard, hard house, dnb, jungle and more recently 140 dub / deep dubstep. 
Ran with STS crew back in the 90s and attended the mighty EXODUS party's in Luton..  This year (365 days) has been tough on every body, and there are so many people in the same boat that my intention was to upload monthly mixes here of stuff I'm digging, Available for download to enjoy when ever but things went sideways real fast and it knocked me back harder than I've ever experienced. Music has always been my magic carpet able to lift me off and take me to some amazing states of mind. with this said I am now in second gear ready to get my music head back on and hit the ground running! WATCH THIS SPACE!! You still watching? Good cos theres a new mix coming currently in editing process so hold tight ;) 
I don't produce yet and this  is something I'd like to dabble in over the next 365 days, again WATCH THIS SPACE!! I don't own the rights to the music I perform with! If this is an issue please contact me directly and I will remove the song / mix.
