What's shakin funky people?! We are back with Volume 193 of the series and we are stoked to welcome back our good mate from across the pond, Jon Hart!

Jon Hart, born and raised in Chorley, Northwest UK. Found a love for DJing in his early teens and entered DJ Idol Manchester aged 18yrs.

His sets earned him regular gigs in and around Manchester with the 2Risque crowd which led to the birth of Reason 2 Funk Records & Reason 2 Funk Radio Shows on multiple online streaming sites around the globe.

Jon has DJ’d at various clubs, events & festivals in destinations such as Ibiza, Amsterdam, Belgium, San Francisco & Croatia to name a few.

Recently he took a break from music to work on other projects, but hes now back and hes made an impact already, playing Dirty Sessionz and catching the eyes of IN:SESSION earning himself a residency playing alongside the likes of K-Klass, Jon DaSilva & Toolrooms CHANNE in a B2B set in December 2022, warming up for Grant Nelson in July 2023, DJin alongside live PA from Lisa Millet in September 2023.

Jon is set to relaunch Reason 2 Funk Records in the not so distant future which will see the rebirth of the FUNKcast, the Reason 2 Funk Merch which was always a popular one with the global house DJs and house music lovers, and will see the promise of a guaranteed to make your body move launch party.

Hailing from deepest darkest Yorkshire, In my youth I  had the pleasure of frequenting local hugely influential super clubs like Back to Basics, Orbit and Hard Times, whilst listening to the likes of Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, DJ Sneak and the real quality American house at that time, which inspired me to buy my first decks over 20 years ago now. I’ve a huge passion / obsession for Chicago, deep  & jackin house and nothing makes me happier than hunting down a rabbit hole for  that elusive track to share the love🥰🎶!

Since his first rave in the early 90's, Danger soaked up the eclectic diversity in the Bay Area and grew to love and appreciate House Music for its energy and community, as well as its soulful healing and message.
As a DJ, Danger runs the gamut from deep rich vocals and moody chuggy beats to the occasional jack tune. As a producer, he makes swingy and or deep tracks, but is looking to do some big room vocals in the future. So, a little while ago - 2015 to be precise... we had an absolute cracking mix on Series 1 of the FUNKcast from head honcho at Jackin.cz - PIF... so I reached out again to reconnect and had a lovely catch up with this guy, since we last spoke we both got married but we both still are running our little House Music HQs and have never lost the love for it.

So lets welcome back to the FUNKcast for Series 3 - Mr Jackin.CZ - PIF... this ones hot!!!

A little more about PIF:
DJ PIF's journey into the world of DJing began with a deep love for music in 2005 when he was recognized by a local DJ and radio host in Czech Republic. As he started to learn the craft of mixing, he was also passionate about being a radio host on a local radio station. This love stayed with him as he was hosting a show for 4 years on Amsterdam Most Wanted radio. Now he hosts a show on the RadioB.cz called Pifoviny.

In 2011 he founded Jackin.cz collective and with DJ MarkyP they put Jackin House firmly on the map in the Czech scene.

He played in numerous clubs all around Czech Republic, being resident in Prague’s Hilton Cloud 9 and also the hub for Czech underground house scene - Pekelnej bar. Sharing stages with international icons, to name a few DJ Sneak, Golf Clap, Flapjackers, Craig Hamilton, Johny Fiasco, Trevor Vichas, and JR From Dallas. They inspired him to start creating his own tracks and since 2012 his tracks were released on labels like Doing Work Records, Full House Digital, Treasured Grooves and more.
