Resident at Waves Radio fortnightly Mondays at 5pm UK time and for Groove Direction on D3ep Radio monthly. Resident at Gary Cullen & Scott Merifield's In The House @ Doghouse Bar & Bagel Shop Leeds and host of the The Angel's Share events.

Playing mostly deep jackin, chicago house & the occasional breaks / downtempo sesh for good measure.

A little more about Jason:
Jason Skilz (Possible Worlds / Low Noise Productions / Spins & Needles) 

DJ, sound artist, producer and label owner, Jason plays multiple genres, from House and Techno to Industrial, and Experimental sets, etc. Jason started out in the mid 90s playing at small raves, parties and club events in Montreal and the east coast. In 2005 with partner Melanie Yugo, he created the interactive DIY art and music event Spins and Needles which hosted events in multiple cities and countries including Berlin, London UK, San Francisco, Chicago and others. In 2015, Melanie and Jason also launched the Possible Worlds creative art, music, and print studio which continues today. 

Jason has had many guest mixes on House Salad series, Soul Room Sessions, LoFrequency, Kromecast, Reason 2 Funk, Lost in Bass radio and past releases on labels such as Dustpan, Coyote Cuts, and Spins and Needles.

Today we gladly, and with much pride, present to you our 17th guest for the series: Ed The Spread. We've been a huge fan of his music, so it's a pleasure to share his with you. 

Here we have a man from Cardiff on top of his game, especially when it comes to music. Has been a producer of quality House tracks since 2015, frequently worked with labels like Reason 2 Funk, Frosted Recordings, Cabbie Hat Recordings, Good For You Records, Fogbank, Guesthouse, Drop Music,... and a plethora more. He has a very distinguished sound which explores the boundaries of creativity and has very interesting arrangements, while making sure your boogie needs are well met. 
He's send us a wonderful live recording from last month's gig at the Vulcan Lounge in Cardiff. Get ready for 3 hours and 20 mins of awesome House music !

The opening live set of the 14th play house sessions before BUFS and L!to took over - you can find their sets on my channel too.

Took it a bit deeper this time but as always full of solid grooves. Includes tracks from Vittorio Brena, Qusok, Willys Nice, Jimpster, DJ Sneak, James Moorfield, Animist, Rufus, Hector Moralez, Jonasclean To-Ka Project, Steve End, Arturo Garces, Joss Moog, Lekind, FLETCH, Kolter, Fatalgerian + more.... in fact I somehow managed to cram 46 tracks into 110 minutes on this one. Dropped a couple of classic deep house vinyls in there too - see if you can spot em.

Founded by Jon Hart to showcase underground house music from all the talent around the globe with a "real" passion for house music.
Slowly but surely reason2funk is becoming more and more known for its passion for showcasing seriously talented and more importantly passionate House DJs from all parts of the globe.

Reason 2 Funk was started in 2013 by DJ Jon Hart, it was started as a brand to launch our first online radio show on Chicago House FM (Reason 2 Funk Fridays with DJ Jon Hart). 

The brand was then carried through to both Sugar Shack Recordings & Amsterdams Most Wanted as we were offered radio shows on their sites to. 

Reason 2 Funk fast became quite well known amongst the online radio sites and we decided to give the brand a fresh look that was more recognisable in order to continue its growth. 

Reason 2 Funk are now producing music and are looking to release some tracks in early-mid 2015, which will be the launch of "Reason 2 Funk Recordings" as a label, however in the meantime Reason 2 Funk will be releasing weekly podcasts from its featured DJs and guest mixes from talent all over the world.
