Finishing the interview let me have a deeper understanding of the mind and look at the issues of from my partners perspective of social media self-presentation and online behavior. Designing the interview questions took a lot of thinking about those key themes we have covered related to privacy, tracking, and data usage. The conversation proved to be of vital use as it made it plain how people handle the difficult task of ensuring that their online identities are well managed and at the same time one’s privacy is respected. Working with the audio recording was a great chance for me to extract the most essential moments of the interview and present them in a condensed story that shows the most significant items of our discussion. This combination of conducting the interview, restructuring the recording and reflecting on how the insights help widened my understanding of the various components of digital media systems and the influence of the community on the creation of a respectful and safe online environment. In general, the realization of this task made me understand the complexities around online behavior and underlined the necessity of critical thinking and making educated decisions in the era of technology.
