AOTD [Special Project Theme]

This is the main theme I composed for my conceptual game project, "Liminal State."

The game concept explores a post-singularity world where a protagonist, after trying to escape a life of total technological immersion, wakes with amnesia at the edge of the wilderness. The gameplay follows their journey back towards the very world they tried to flee, piecing together a forgotten past.

I wrote this piece to capture the feeling of the protagonist's "liminal state"—that surreal, half-awake feeling of trying to speak or remember, but being unable to. The music blends organic piano with ambient electronic textures to reflect the core conflict between nature and technology. The prominent piano melody represents that muted reach for a memory that is just out of grasp.
