I returned to Techno Balkon yesterday, performing on the Balkon stage alongside @sam_paganini and John Waiter (@user-976793215). It was an exciting and important experience for me.

Yesterday, I embraced Dwight D. Eisenhower's quote, "Plans are nothing; planning is everything." 😂
Despite my careful preparation of tracklists, I ended up deviating from them and found joy in improvisation and experimenting with mixing techniques.

I'm satisfied with the results, the lessons learned, and the opportunity to meet DJs I admire.

Pushing the boundaries of hardgroove, breaks and bass - Rebekah's dynamic approach to producing and emotionally rich club sets are seeing her gain valuable recognition as a key figure in the underground.

She has been mixing records for as long as she can remember, developing an ultra-precise and all-encompassing style that incorporates the full, rich tapestry of UK Dance music culture into her craft. Oscillating between techno, breaks, and house, she serves up a gritty yet euphoric selection rooted in the origins of club culture.

Rebekah continues to receive support from BBC Radio 1 Dance and BBC Radio London for her tracks, and with several exciting releases upcoming in 2025, we can expect to see much more of this support soon.

With stand-out performances on iconic stages such as The Temple at Glastonbury this summer and fabric Room 2, Rebekah has a busy diary of shows ahead - continuing to build a strong international fan base, via venues and festivals such as World Headquarters in her native Newcastle, Solfest and Venue MOT in the UK, along with Montreux Jazz Festival, Grelle Forelle and Club Zukunft in Europe.

Rebekah maintains her monthly live show ‘Recreation’, on the Central London-based radio station, Bloop, alongside her club night residency at Notting Hill Arts Club.

Amidst the rapidly changing landscape of club culture, Rebekah’s dedication to preserve the art of dance music and champion the underground is gaining valuable support and recognition, both in the UK and in Central Europe - with growing excitement surrounding her club night series, artist collaborations and commitment to pushing culture forward in today’s challenging climate.

Originally from Newcastle but London-based, Rebekah’s passion for dance music began early in her life. She was immersed in the energy of UK rave culture during the mid-90s, thanks to her two older step brothers and later playing vinyl in her bedroom at age 11. Her eclectic sound is built on the foundation of house, trance, UK bass, garage and the club culture of northern England - transmitting all the hallmarks of a UK artist, whilst amplified by her experiences living in the Middle East, North America and Europe.
