Sunday evening somewhere in the forest of Germany, day 3 at the beautiful and magical Lusatia Festival. The sun was setting, dust from dancing people, smoke all around the dance floor, smiling beauties everywhere and the vibe! was simply amazing! And we are glad to share with all of you our recording from this mystical evening 

Big thanks to everyone who spend the sunset with ours and to the entire team of Lusatia for creating such an amazing festival.

Grumpy basslines carry you through a mesmerizing forest of quivering synthesizers inhabited by a garrulous vocoder band. Saturated by a marching troop of percussions a starstruck landscape of dancing will-o'-the-wisps enrolls in this two hour journey.✨ Let yourself dive deep into this void of manifold sound textures and be guided through the shivering pictures of your imagination.

Three queries ring through the nocturnal shades:

🌊 What is your favorite procrastination activity?
Sitting by the sea with friends and watching the tides rise and fall to the rhythm of the moon and sun.

🧸 If you could live in any fictional world from a book or movie, where would you choose to live and why?
The Ewoks' village in "Return of the Jedi". It's a place I've always dreamed of visiting, with those cosy tree houses you'd love to settle your nest. Walking through the forest, from footbridge to footbridge. Not just one tree house, but an entire village - what a dream!

☕️ What do you normally eat for breakfast and on what time?
The only routine would be a coffee. For the rest, there are no rules. It depends on the day mood.

Let’s dive deep into the clear water of progressive soundscapes in this weeks Traumcast Nr. 43. @julianewolfmusic  ☺️

A continuous flow of shakers and driving beats build the road for myriads of intertwined synthesizer. Like lovers they playfully tease each other, building distance through their dancing movements only to be pulled back together by the gravity of their unknown connection. Thus bound in a back and forth of longing and destiny, they create a story that needs to be heard.

Juliane Wolf mesmerizes us with an arrangement almost composed by herself and remixes of her tracks.

Three levitating Questions to Juliane:

🍂 What is a skill or talent that you've always wanted to learn but haven't had the opportunity to?

I would like to give workshops where I can pass on my knowledge of producing and DJing, but I still need to develop a bit of self-confidence to do that, which is also a big goal of mine.
I would also like to be fluent in Spanish.

🍂 What is a personal goal you are working towards in 2023?

For many years now, I've wanted to go to South America to play and show my music there. I often get messages from people there and have been dreaming of traveling and playing there for so long.

🍂 What is the best piece of advice you have ever received and how has it influenced your life?

I had a point in my life where I wanted to stop making music for various reasons. But my friends and family kept encouraging me and persuading me to keep going. I am very grateful to them for that.

What an astonishing year lies behind us? So many fascinating and driving Traumcasts accompanied us throughout the times 💫

Now we’re closing the year with a very special treat for us all: Kon Faber (@kon-faber) contribute their Liveset from our 10 years anniversary at Renate, Berlin! The set is packed with original mixes and remixes by @madota, @fabiankrooss, @ladsmusique and @iorie.  🎶

Lets follow these two cuties on a 1.5 hour ride through their Kon Faber House. What’s that? you ask? It’s a pretty yummy combination of your favorite elements of house, deep house and Kon Faber Sync Bobbly Heads. 🫧

The groove is so sunny that it’ll melt away your winterblues while the vocals and synthesizers form a gluey cover of happy faces and vibrating hips. Carefully they rise the temperature of the floor till it hits just the sweetspot to roast our synapses in colorfull ecstasy till they release us wobbly as a rainbowy slinky.

🦩 What are your plans as Kon Faber for 2024?
Soo many plans! The year will be kicked off with our tour in Australia / New Zealand in February and followed by our first EP on A Tribe Called Kotori in March, which we are super excited about. Also, our first Konverge party is this Saturday, 16.12., and we expect more of that in 2024. Also, we've got a lot of collabs lined up with e.g. LADS, Madota, Javid, our dear Frida Darko & Atric, and more. Can. not. wait.

🦩 What's the best piece of advice you've ever received, and how has it influenced your life?
Travelling is the best teacher in life. My mom has taught me (Bene) how important it is to stay curious and open-minded, and has taught me to see the world. I couldn't imagine who I would be without having met different cultures all across the world, and having learned how to change perspective on people, things, everything.
Nils: My parents simply showed me how much beauty there is in music and it completely influenced the trajectory of my life. 

🦩 What is your favorite procrastination activity?
Playing Chess (I'm not good but enthusiastic, Bene)

🧚🏻‍♀️What's a skill or talent you've always wanted to learn, but haven't had the chance to yet?
Whistling with the fingers, I can't help but envy every person on the dance floor who does their magic.

🧚🏻‍♀️If you were a superhero, what special power would you most like to have?
Teleportation: It's like having a golden ticket to swap the city hustle for mountain zen or beach bliss in the blink of an eye. Plus, it's the ultimate hack for surprising friends in other cities with spontaneous hugs!

Isabeau Fort | Traumcast Nr. 46

Sending us the first love notes from spring early february gave us a short glimpse of the warmer seasons. Though winter is now pushing us back into our cozy living rooms, @madmoiselle_myrna managed to catch some of the first warm sun rays of the year. Nimbly she cooped them up into a beautiful journey of soft synthesizers, deep melodies and a  cover of dreams. ✨

If you're enjoying some me time, treating yourself to a bubbly bath with a rather big piece of cake or looking for shelter in the warmth comfort of your friends companionship, this is the perfect soundtrack to hibernate through the last days of winter! ❄️

🌷 What's the best piece of advice you've ever received, and how has it influenced your life?

„You grow with your tasks and responsibilities.“

It helped me not being scared of new situations, not trying to do everything perfectly and going with my gut feeling. And keeping in mind: it will get easier. 🌷

🌷 What are you proud of accomplishing in 2023?

Becoming a mum 🤱🏼

🌷 What's a personal goal you're working toward in 2024?

Being part of the festival season for the first time since I am a DJ and making the best out of this first summer as a family.

Shepherd: Well, in a way I'm curious myself. Always when I release a recording and let go of it, I listen to it in a new way than in the process of making it. The podcast is deep, groovy, made for home listening but also has some strong hints to the dancefloor. I surprised myself by including so many tracks with singing or vocal samples. Nevertheless, a few came to stay, and they became a fundamental part of the constellation of facts that we call existence.
