Over the last few years Luigi Tozzi has been calmly making a name for himself as one of Europe’s go-to DJs for his distinct brand of techno that draws both from ambient music as well as from the club.
Raised in Rome, the DJ and Producer takes influence from the timeless italian sound, which he’s further developed with an emotional, swirling, dubby atmosphere. There’s an unmistakable texture to his productions.

While prolific, Tozzi has kept his output within a close family of labels. Swedish label Hypnus are key here, having released a number of the producer’s EPs as well as his acclaimed debut album, Deep Blue: Volume 2, in 2016. Alongside Hypnus, Tozzi has worked closely with Mental Modern and Outis Music, releasing both solo as well as collaborative work with the label’s founder, Dino Sabatini.   

 Tozzi’s unswerving commitment to his sound, alongside his pensive and considered development as an artist has brought him to where he is today, with a touring schedule that’s taken him to some of the finest clubbing establishments around the world. Within this, he maintains a residency at Khidi, Tbilisi, which in recent years has emerged as one of the best clubbing destinations in Europe. It’s through this platform that he brings his unique hybrid sound as both a DJ and producer, and can evolve and experiment as an artist.

New York City-based DJ, producer and JUJUKA label boss Julia Govor delivers this week's Global Vibe Radio mix!

Born in Georgia, Julia started as a singer in a military band back in the USSR and ended up in New York.

She’s collaborated with some of the most well-known electronic dance music producers and contemporary DJs – artists such as Kamran Sadeghi, Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz and Jeroen Search.

Her productions lean towards the sophisticated side of original Detroit Techno, while keeping it dry, detail-loaded and diverse. She’s most known as a producer who has her own unique and innovative sounds.

Third up is @fkoff1963, one of the masterminds behind Sao Paulo's @clubetormenta

“In this mix I only included Brazilian artists who are re-designing pop culture in our country. I tried to destroy every single vocal by blending them with hard drums and baile funk samples in order to re-signify their melodies and feelings. 

This is the closest representation I can imagine of a post-apocalyptic Brazilian scene. I'm pretty sure that in the end of the times, everything will become +150bpm.”

WNDRLST is Techno DJ & Producer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands - 25 years old with his roots in the industrial and dark scene. Over the last 3 years, he has been uncovering his personal style and experimenting with a variety of sounds to create a unique but hard-hitting vibe. Having released multiple EPs such as "Path of Destruction" and "Lost and Found" on great labels like Otomo Trax and Industrial Philharmonics with support from e.g. Dax J and Paula Temple - he is definitely on his way to becoming a great asset to the techno scene.

Envisage founder and resident Mark Cloonan is a 23 year old techno DJ currently based in Limerick 🌐

He has built a solid reputation for himself over the last couple years, having played in venues like The Grand Social in Dublin, The Cellar, Monroes, The Loft and Carbon in Galway, Pharmacia Limerick while also venturing to Sligo and more 🇮🇪 

His passion and drive is evident and likes to be versatile in each set so you can be sure to expect a style of fast, high energy euphoric techno in this particular mix 🔨 

Mark played at MASS 19 and has supported the likes of Casual Gabberz, Digital Indecency, Adamant to name a few, he is no stranger to the Irish scene by now and is eager to get back into the swing of things after the pandemic 🔜
