Funktion head honcho Shiels started out as a resident DJ at a local club night Killarney House Sessions, it was here Shiels started making a name for himself with his unique style and technical ability.

Skip on a couple of years and the Kerry native has seen himself play alongside some major names at some of Irelands leading clubs including traveling overseas to France to perform at a number of shows.
Shiels plays regular shows alongside his other half K8lyn.
With their common love for house and techno the two came together and started their own collective. Since the birth of Funktion the duo have been making waves in the south west hosting some impressive shows, sharing the bill with the likes of Mark Reeve, Harvey McKay, Kettama, Rebuke, Mark Blair, Ejeca and many more.

This mix features tracks from the likes of Testpress, GES, Niles Cooper, CashXMack & NANCY Live.
