Capital Punishment [Demo]

ALL I WANT IS U (OG VERSION) is the original solo version of the record that later appeared on my 2021 EP Dear Somebody: an audio letter with additional verses from MDWAVZ and WOPLAMEAHH.

This version captures the song in its earliest form — just me, before features were added — preserving the original tone, lyrics, and emotion that shaped the final release.

A late-night reflection balancing love, pressure, and ambition, rooted in the moment before the record evolved into its finished form.

Written, recorded, and performed by JHARRY.

ALL I WANT IS U (OG VERSION)

This project began as a sound design session, and when I first played that melody line all I could hear was 'Come Clean' by Jeru the Damaja. From there it became an homage to that eerie and mysterious DJ Premier production.
