Justine Perry is a French DJ based in Berlin and resident at Art Bei Ton.
Attracted by the Berlin club scene, her sets are influenced by dark and deep techno, bringing the public to a hypnotic experience. 
Established herself in Europe, she played in prestigious venues, such as Rex Club in Paris, Khidi in Tbilisi, Griessmühle, or Tresor in Berlin, as well as some festivals, like Forte Festival in Portugal, Instytut Festival in Poland and she performed at the finest European radio stations like Red Light Radio, Hoer Berlin, Rinse FM or Clubbing TV.
On 2020, in collaboration with Petit Astronaute, Justine Perry released her first track « Swell » out on DNC Limited.

Parabel Podcast #64 - Miia Magia

EPM Podcast 164 comes from Detroit man DJ Rolando. Having made his name as The Aztec Mystic on Underground Resistance and as Los Hermanos (on his own eponymous label) alongside Gerald Mitchell, he now runs his second label venture R3 (Roland Rocha Records) and exclusively releases his own music on the imprint. This mix captures then man in techno funk heaven as he brings together tracks from Steve Rachmad, Rennie Foster, R.M.K., Jeran Fortis, Ribe & Roll Dann, Mark Broom, The Exaltics, Elisa Bee, Mr G & Duncan Forbes, Klint and of course some hot up and coming floor bombs from the man himself!

Rolando grew up in south west Detroit, a Hispanic district, and was heavily influenced by his cultural Latin rhythms and percussion. Inspired from an early age by his musician father, he pursued his own interest in music and became well known and respected within the community. It was later when he heard Jeff Mills in 1985 as ‘The Wizard’ that he discovered the innovative sounds of Techno. Through a mutual friend he was introduced to Mike Banks and joined Underground Resistance in 1994. 

In 1999 'Knights of the Jaguar', although not Rolando's first release on UR, turned perceptions of Techno on their head, breaking into other genres of dance music and becoming a classic in the boxes of DJs such as Tenaglia, Oakenfold and Gilles Peterson. The track has a long legacy of reworking and lives on nearly 25 years later inspiring audiences from all genres. Rolando continues to work internationally as a DJ and still preaches the word of techno to enthusiastic crowds the world over.

Reclaim Your City 096 | Keith Carnal (Amsterdam)

Keith Carnal is a household name in the Amsterdam techno scene, igniting parties across the city with his uniquely blended style of Dutch, German, and Swedish techno.
Born and raised in the north of the Netherlands, Keith grew up consuming music - his parents filled the house with tracks from New Order, the Dire Straits, and Donna Summer - and as a teenager, he spent hours exploring new artists in record stores.

In 2008, Keith burst onto the scene playing and producing house and electro music. Later, inspired by Surgeon, Juan Atkins, Ben Klock, Chris Liebling, Adam Beyer and Ben Sims, he discovered his true passion and style: techno. His techno tracks have since been played by DVS1, Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Invite, Subjected, Klaudia Gawlas, Phunk Investigation, and many others.

Constantly innovating, Keith is now producing deeper techno with melodic inputs. He plays at parties such as the Harry Klein Night @ ADE, CLR Night @ Studio80. He has spun alongside Joel Mull, Surgeon, Chris Liebing, Psyk, Christian Smith and Jonas Kopp. As featured member of the I amtechno Showcase, he performs frequently on behalf of this organization.

Recently, Keith has been bringing his sound to various clubs in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden. Expect to hear upcoming releases on Affin Records and remixes for Amazone Records and A R T S.

Carrying well over seventeen years of love for techno and performing experience with him, Invite is one of Holland’s few true household names. A modest perfectionist at heart, he translates his passion and drive into outspoken and highly versatile DJ-sets. Whether it’s opening deep and warm,closing rough and edgy, a small crowd or large setting Invite treats every gig with the same amount of diligence and respect. When given carte blanche and an extended timeslot, something he much prefers, Invite is able to move a crowd like few others can.

His career has seen him perform at numerous events including  Awakenings, Time Warp, festivals such as Awakefest, Free Your Mind and venues like Trouw, Paradiso and Doornroosje, on multiple occasions alongside the likes of Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims and Jeff Mills. Invite’s reach doesn’t stop at the border however; he has played in Germany, South-Korea, Russia, Croatia, Slovenia, Scotland, Czech Republic, Austria, Estonia, England, France and Belgium and is looking forward to a lot more traveling.

Early 2011 has also marked the launch of his own podcast series, dubbed Invite’s Choice. Aiming to provide international techno artists with a sixty-minute platform to think 100% out of the box and record a set without any musical limitations, it’s quickly become one of the best weekly podcasts out there.

Next up is a fantastic artist based out of Vancouver, Canada, whose sound is unique and special, please welcome 747. Active since the middle of last decade, he specializes in the powerful intersection between acid and atmospheric techno. His style is characterized by the 303, his instrument of choice, and his works have all found a home in Aquaregia —a Canadian label based out of Toronto. His last project, While My 303 Gently Weeps EP, came out last week and is a profound, four-tracker testament to his shrewd sound and artistry. And like the release, his contribution to the series is an enthralling, introspective journey —an ode of sorts to sound, situation, and circumstances— that will pass the test of time. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
