The second release on the No Reality catalogue is none other than 'Lift the Veil' by Section. The Locked Up music boss has delivered a stunning 4-track EP that expresses his deep, signature junglist sound balancing the dark and light ever so beautifully, as always. He has kindly put together this incredible mix to promote the forthcoming EP that will be released on 24th February 2023 featuring tracks from his release. We are extremely excited for this EP and we hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do!

Dropping on the highly esteemed Architecture Recordings Imprint, legendary Drum & Bass producer Ink teams up again with cinematic artist Loomis along side soulful, powerful vocalist Kaybee to deliver the nostalgic ‘Resolution’.

Consisting of 4 mixes to inhabit the different corners of drum and bass, the original is a rolling soulful feast; with cinematic piano melodies and organic strings, infused with sweeping vocals, stabbed bass and growls to take you to the deepest melancholy, yet inspirited realms.

With a nod back to the early drum and bass days that have shaped the scene today, the Heritage mix infuses big emotive pads, multiple bass layers and stunning vocals, laid over driven breaks; delivering a punch and skirting from dark to light, with exactly the right balance of emotion and drive.

One for the DnB purists, the Nova Mix ticks the boxes for those that inhabit the darker corners of the dance floor; distorted, menacing amen rolls, moody pads, stabs and reversed piano moments, all underpinned by a dangerously dark bass and punchy subs. 

To finish off the release, we’re treated with a beautiful, beat-less cinematic outro which highlights the more melodic ingredients; with lush layered strings and emphasised bass crescendos, the Outro is the cherry on the cake of this quintessential drum and bass release.

The release drops this Friday night (17th Feb 2023) @7pm (GMT) with an exclusive band camp digital release along side ultra limited 10” hand cut dub plates - containing the Original and Heritage Mix. Check out Architecture Recordings Bandcamp page for more info.

Codename: RCRDS are proud to present the 2nd solo artist EP on the label with the exceptionally talented NonRev delivering five lush atmospheric jungle / drum and bass tracks. 

 Heavily inspired by the music of LTJ Bukem and Good Looking Records, Voyager, DJ Trax, PFM and other 90s legends, you can expect relentless old breakbeats, big 808s and vibey jazz samples all drenched in reverb and nostalgia with a decidedly modern twist.

 The EP opens with ‘Never Again’, where lush keys and synth vox’s meet rolling breaks and deep rumbling bass. Things move into an eerier direction with the catchy guitar riff and deep stabbing synth tones of ‘Inconsequential’, before things switch back into a more rolling direction with ‘Have Life Will Travel’.

 The stunning ‘Stay With Me’ seamlessly interplays several vocals with rolling breaks and an infectious bassline, before the EP closes with the gorgeous title track ‘Sun At Midnight’.

Like anything truly fulfilling, Things to Remind is gratifying. Over the course of the song, there are patient build-ups and pull-backs, and they feel fantastic. Though they are occasionally inconspicuous, this dark, smouldering work's movement and flow are nonetheless present.
