Smokey is a DJ, Music Producer & Teacher based out of Mumbai. She has performed at Music Festivals across India, like Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Life In Color Festival, Bass Camp Festival, Sunburn Arena, India Bike Week, Indie Art Week, Fields Of Love, God's Own Music Festival, to name a few. Her spirit of dedication towards the music has led her to get a great appreciation for her sets from her fellow artists such as Moresounds (FR), Om Unit (UK), Kutmah (UK), Amit (UK), Spikey Tee (UK), Sinistarr (US), Indika (UK), MC Fava (DE), PLO (Outlook), Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, What So Not, DJ 4B, Tynan, Nucleya, Divine, Ritviz, Midival Punditz, Monica Dogra, Karan Kanchan and many more she’s shared the stage with across various clubs and festivals in her journey so far. Her dynamic and prolific amount of work also includes being a Faculty at Audioqube Academy - A state of the art Music Production Academy. Every form of expression Smokey embraces is steeped in an innate dramatic flair with a musical prowess that uncovers a true artist within.

Set in the far flung future where the divide between man and machine is blurred, this is a collection of out of this world melodics. This LP features Robotic Jazz sounds, where futuristic melodics playfully merge with electronic breaks, thundering and also reflective amen journeys interspersed with euphoric guitar and pads and 24th century Cyber-harmonies that twist and turn with vibrant pads and synths to create something quite different. All that is left is for you to to close your eyes and let the music transport you to a future dimension of sound.

Codename: RCRDS are proud to present the 2nd solo artist EP on the label with the exceptionally talented NonRev delivering five lush atmospheric jungle / drum and bass tracks. 

 Heavily inspired by the music of LTJ Bukem and Good Looking Records, Voyager, DJ Trax, PFM and other 90s legends, you can expect relentless old breakbeats, big 808s and vibey jazz samples all drenched in reverb and nostalgia with a decidedly modern twist.

 The EP opens with ‘Never Again’, where lush keys and synth vox’s meet rolling breaks and deep rumbling bass. Things move into an eerier direction with the catchy guitar riff and deep stabbing synth tones of ‘Inconsequential’, before things switch back into a more rolling direction with ‘Have Life Will Travel’.

 The stunning ‘Stay With Me’ seamlessly interplays several vocals with rolling breaks and an infectious bassline, before the EP closes with the gorgeous title track ‘Sun At Midnight’.
