An abrasive and wild Sci-Fi space opera, unclassifiable Electro/Acid/New Beat/Post Punk, "Firefly" introduces the possibility of pogo on the dancefloor, through a melancholic and brutal soundtrack carried by machines played like guitars in a garage, and illustrated by the enigmatic landscapes of Laura Kopf who designed the album's cover.

With 'Call The Ball', Feinstoff marks its eighteenth release, handing the reins to Cologne’s ETANE for a four-track trip moving with the tension of indie dance, the grit of EBM and a post-punk undercurrent. On the flip, the title track is reimagined by French artist MMYYLO, known for his slow-burning, analogue-driven darkness.

MMYYLO delivers a slow burner, Dark Disco par excellence. Well tried and tested on the floor, his analogue-driven sound builds with groove and weight, drawing dancers into shadowy tension. Having released on labels like Polaris and worked alongside Damon Jee and Darlyn Vlys, he has firmly carved out a place in the Dark Disco and Indie Dance circuit.

The remix album dives into three standout tracks from the album, "The Future Is Among Us," "DIE4U," and "Pappenheimer," coming off of Moderna's debut album, The Future Is Among Us, and enlists a heavyweight cast of artists to give them a new life.

The record opens with two very different, but equally powerful, remixes of the title track. French duo Kimshies delivers a dark, club-ready slow-burner, while Karassimeon cranks up the energy with an indie-dance, Italo bumper. Next, "DIE4U" gets a thrilling new perspective from Slow Motion Record's founder Franz Scala and synth-wave doll Neu-Romancer. Both artists inject their signature styles, transforming the original with their unique, unmistakable flair. Closing out the EP is Almost Falling, the new project from German producers Esther Silex and Kotelett, who give us their downbeat version of “Pappenheimer”.

This remix EP is more than just a collection of new versions—it's a bold expansion of Moderna's original vision, further cementing "The Future Is Among Us" as a quintessential electronic album.
