Introducing the 136th addition to our ever evolving journey here at Recovery Collective, here we present three-track Paralyzer EP by Oak and Hammer featuring a mind-bending remix by Jack Smart.

This release draws you into the murky depths of melodic techno, where dark brooding atmospheres and shimmering vocals collide for a visceral listening experience. Just like the build-up before a shark attack, the EP creates an unnerving tension, lurking in the shadows before striking with full force.

Oak and Hammer's two original tracks, 'Paralyzer' and Inescapable Reality, explore a rich spectrum of melodic and driving techno, with each track weaving together shimmering, haunting vocals and razor-sharp percussion.

Paralyzer opens with deep, brooding energy, building steadily through sweeping synths and thick basslines that envelop you in a trance-like state, while Inescapable Reality takes a more aggressive, relentless approach, propelling the dance floor into darker territory laced with gripping intensity.

Jack Smart's remix of Paralyzer injects a psychedelic twist, transforming the original into a deeper, more mind-altering journey. Known for his hypnotic soundscapes, Jack crafts a remix that feels like being pulled into the swirling undertow of a deep sea storm. His remix brings a dreamlike tension to the release, amplifying the EP's dark allure.

After working with over 120 artists on 130+ releases, our repertoire boasts diverse genres, innovative collaborations with artists and labels, along with tracks that have left an indelible mark on the music industry. 

From being awarded the position of Beatport's Top 3 label for 2020 (following revered Afterlife and Diynamic imprints), and 4th highest selling release of the year - along with a large portfolio of accomplishments and achievements since its inception - Recovery Collective has grown from a fledgling label to a global powerhouse.

Bringing together artists from all corners of the world, the label has championed artists from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to showcase their unique talents on a global stage. From Australia to Ukraine, Brazil, France, Lebanon and Thailand. We really have created a community of artists that today we are ever so proud of.

To celebrate a decade of operation, Recovery Collective will be embarking on a 10 Year Anniversary World Tour throughout 2024, seeking to revisit this incredible journey, bringing together our esteemed artists, dedicated fans, and the larger music community.
